Most NCAA Gymnasts are L-10s... There are also a fair number of ex-Elite Gymnasts and a few L-9s that are still progressing.
The NCAA scoring code is a slightly modified JO/L-10 Code of Points... In my opinion a good L-10 routine will score a couple of tenth higher in NCAA competition than in JO competition.

usually they scout people. but sometimes they have walk on positions where you have to try out.

openings, like if theres umm lets say 15 spots and they have 12 scouted girls girls can try out for those 3 remainis spots.

theres a really fun university of michigan summer gymnastics camp... went 2 time it amazing u spend 4 day and stay over night in the dorms

on michigan's team you won't find anyone under level 10. we have an amazing team.
sidenote - i think it's funny that tachi said that beam is 6 ft off the ground ... how about four :)

normally for big colleges its you have to be a leval 9 or 10 coming in.
