The whole Tibet thing is horrible. I haven't been keeping up with the news lately but from the little I know this is horrible! Even in ancient Greece there was a war ceasefire when the Olympic Games were on. I think your choice of boycotting the Olympic Games this year is very wise. I might do it too.

have fun goofing off and i am not sure about the whole boycott olympics stuff i think that there has been human rights abuse for many years in china. so my question is why does it take olympics for people to stand up. dont get me wrong i think it is a good thing to fight the power.

we had a BLAST! :-) even took some video. I think the reason it took so long for me to stand up is just that I didn't really see an effective way before. I'm terrible about not speaking up, but like the hubby says - I don't care the motivation as long as people do the right thing. :-)
