COLB proves a child was born. It does not prove the place of birth.
Birth Certificate proves a child was born, AND in a certain place. It is a standard form with certain requirements to be legitimate. This is what Obama has not shown up with.

Eisenhouser had duel citizenship with Englend, and was an honarary citizen of France. It did not afect his eligability

Nor does it efect the fact that he was born in the US.

Yes. That's exactly what pro bono means. Unless you think Obama's lawyers are lying about working pro bono. But there's really absolutely no reason to.
Also, in one recent case (Keyes v. Bowen), plaintiffs were ordered to pay legal fees for their frivolous suit. The value of the work done by Obama's lawyers? $520. That will take almost 1000 cases before even $500k is spent at that rate.

The AOL poll was one anybody could vote on as many times as they wanted. Just because it says there were 100,000 votes doesn't mean that 100,000 different people voted. For all we know, one person voted. Or ten. Or 100. Or 1000.

(2) Hawaii does allow for late registration, however, in accordence with Hawain laws, one must prove place of birth.
And, The director of public health has confermemed that the state does hold his file copy (long form)
(3) I can't remember the name of the company I worked for. It ws somthing like SMI or something like that I think. It was years ago, and yes, it sucked. I didn't work there long. All they asked for was my SSN, and my DD214.

He has shown a jpg of a "certificate of live birth (COLB)." There's a very important difference.
COLB proves a child was born. It does not prove the place of birth.
Birth Certificate proves a child was born, AND in a certain place. It is a standard form with certain requirements to be legitimate. This is what Obama has not shown up with.
This has nothing to do with racism.

If the Panama Canal Zone was an American colony, what about Hawaii, where Barack was born? Wasn't it an independent country under Queen Liliuokalani when we took it over? So then what are the borders of the United States of America? You could make your argument about any place in the USA. Under American law John McCain qualifies as a natural born citizen for being born to two American parents in American territory.

I just find it ironic that Person A is a natural born citizen VIA an exception to the rule. While Person B isn't, and it is person B who's citizenship is under scrutiny.
It shows to me that the people are just looking to get Barrack out, if citizenship truly is the issue McCain's has more to scrutinize.

They created an exception to the definition of what a natural born citizen is.
Conclusion: If someone wants to scrutinize the citizenship of a candidate they would do better looking at.

In March 2008 McCain was opined eligible for Presidency in an opinion paper by former Solicitor General Ted Olson and Harvard Law Professor Tribe. In April 2008 the U.S. Senate approved a non-binding resolution recognizing McCain's status as a natural born citizen.
Odd that something standard needed a resolution passed.

Because a US citizen can only lose their citizenship deliberately and voluntarily through renunciation. Under federal law, a child can virtually never do that, nor can a parent do it for their child.

Its not an argument i could reason out very easily, without being an expert in the field or having certain access to documents, I don't like the policies so I of course would rather he not be born here so we could boot him out, but its just as likely that the birther thing is bullshit

Because the lawsuits all request that Obama be declared ineligible for the presidency. And the automatic response to any suit is to file a motion to dismiss, and every suit has been dismissed after that motion. Not a single one of them would be satisfied with anything Obama produced - they all say that Obama doesn't qualify because his father wasn't a citizen. So what would be the point?
