Damn man that bass sounds awesome. Is there anyway you can send me the bass tabs? I've been wanting to play this song as well but I could never get all the bass notes down.
But just a small tip, hopefully contructive, I would suggest yo uto take on a more "natural" sound, as the bass for example sounds a little bit "robotic"
@kureyonalliance Thanx for that, I'll take it into consideration. The guitar sound imo is actually worse than the bass, hard to get it right when recording in my computer.
@nobisoptimismaximis Are you using a microphone to record it? In that case it's probably that ^^;
As a solution would be to buy a special soundcard that permits you to connect the guitar and bass to the PC and use software to amp and model their sound. While I'm not exactly sure what sort of a card you need, I'm pretty sure there's a similar device to my description.
@kureyonalliance I experiment with different equipment, sometimes I use a mic and sometimes i record directly. This time I used my pre-amp and EQ through the line-in on my Mac (which has a ok soundcard). I think the main problem here is, I didn't take enough time to tweak everything to perfection, because it had been a long day and I wanted to post this vid asap.
But anyway, it is awesome, also the fact that you played both the bass and guitar, and on top of that you also added the drumline to it aswell, I suppose it wasn't easy for you ^^;
