  • Beautiful ensemble, a pleasure to watch.. so much better than those videos that turn beautiful music like this into ridiculous video game animations. If you have no idea what i'm talking about don't worry, you're not missing anything.

  • Guys you are playing great! when are you coming to perform in Israel?

  • @ongaku734 Just a joke- the guy turning the pages sometimes looks kind of like Debussy- look up Debussy on wiki to see the picture I'm talking about.

  • @AEFic haha no kidding! that'sgreat!

  • Is that Debussy himself turning the pages?!

  • @AEFic You are correct!

  • @asb81190 If I'm not mistaken, Claude Debussy died in 1918... Forgive me if there's some key piece of information that I missed. Just trying to keep the record straight.

  • @tebryenton You're right, but I'm not sure I understand your point!

  • @AEFic sure looks like it! haha

  • page turner looks like a fat johnny depp

  • @kbuva06 lol

  • It's so beautiful! Debussy wrote it when he was only 18 yo (!). We are studying it right now and it's a true emotion :)

    BRAVI!

  • wow, the piece makes me speechless

  • maybe a little slower

  • impressive.

  • hot

  • Fantastic!

  • you guys really have such a great sound! You definitely capture the carefree character and gentle mood of this piece!

    Bravo!!

  • Very well and nicely done....very good choice of tempo. Very sensitive and musical playing.

I disagree with Robert (below) about this sounding like a "German Etude".....I think you made very tasteful choices overall, and I like your structure and phrasing.

Can we hear the other movements sometime?

    =)

  • mmmmm.......

If no body told me that that`s Debussy`s early work,I might got confused.....

(Brahmas?Unlike!Dvorak?Far from that!Mendellsohn? Not the same period of time!.......Whose working it is??????)

I think that`s just like Prokofiev`s Piano sonata No.1 and Sinfonia(I don`t know if it is correct?)Thoug young as he is,but you can feel the talent inside. And you will say:[Oh!What a great master!]

  • 3:30. Sublime.

  • wow!that`s much different from the debussy i know!!!!

is it the early work he wrote?

his style of music is unclear.......

  • Yes this is a very early piece. He wrote it when he was around 17. One can already hear traces of mature Debussy in his early music.

  • @diema179 yes, i believe he was 18 when he composed this

  • Very good performance!!

  • The reason people don't know about it, and why this piece is "neglected", is because it was only found in the last 30 years or so. I've been trying to get this piece for a music presentation i have to do in January, but musicroom are screwing me over, cancelling my order. :(

  • Although I am a devoted fan of Debussy, I didn't know this piece. The lovely music of the young Debussy reminds me the elegant salon-style of Cécile Chaminade. Thank you very much for a sober, bittersweet performance.

  • I do wanna watch how u play scherzo as well.

    Isn'the movement a bit tricky?

  • This is such an amazing performance! Debussy's piano trio is such a horribly neglected work. "Experts" always say that this is a naive piece of little importance, but it is so beautiful and its harmonies are so... wonderful!

Did you play the other three movements? If so, could you please put them up? Unlike many chamber pieces, every movement of this trio is nice and strong. Thanks again for this awesome treat!

  • wow, I'm working on this right now!

  • just kidding!! nice performance

  • amazingness at its best

  • i think this is amazing :)
