To quote Howard Goodall; "(This church) contains what many people think to be the best organ in the world." It is, of course, forever associated with the great Piet Kee, who presided over it in partnership with Albert de Klerk, for over thirty years; Marie Claire Alain being one of many noble musicians who have recorded there. Full front on does not do justice to van Covelen's magnificent sculpture and layout, the unsung genius responsible for the organ's famous visual impact. Greetings from NZ.

Kindly allow me to point out that the sculptor of this magnificent organ was Jan van Logteren from Amsterdam. Van Covelens was a highly respected and renowned organ builder, maybe best known for the formidable instrument he built in the St. Laurenskerk/Alkmaar in 1511.

It's so curious! I don't know how you do it, but in your vids the pics always have a great quality, while in others it gets decreased. Very nice vid, the pics are awesome.
