Thank you Jorgos, you are very kind. Famous the Lipatti version, maybe more famous (and about with the same style, but probably better, IMHO) the Benedetti Michelangeli one.
As Scarlatti interpreter my favourite is probably Emil Gilels, and also Maria Tipo and others. But I think my Scarlatti (and not only for the obviously very lower technical level, I hope) is not so similar to these models.
Great interpretation Sandro! I love this sonata. I have been listening to the same sonata (Pogorelich) for the last couple of days. I was definitely in a mood for it and ... here you came.
And congratulations to your technician! The sound of the piano is excellent.
Thank you Val!! I think that these situations with not too much notes and sound volume fits better with a small room acoustic, and the sound results more fresh and natural.
Mine is a desperate case. I love both romantic music and baroque music. I adore Scarlatti, but also the french masters, and Handel....
I think that world must be considered as a block, and not "Bach and then the others".
But if I had to choose a name, probably it will be Scarlatti: euphoric, coloured, often obsessive and full of shadows, academic and popular music writing style, Naples and the Spain, and the isolated career in that crazy court.....a lot of fascinating themes.
Merci! I'm here particulary happy (no problem to admit this, for one time) because the sound. I find it very near my desires, mellow and warm, and I think and I hope this is not only my impression.
P.S.
I like more your version of your "Valse" than mine. I think I'll repeat it.
LOVE IT!
I just like watching your fingers move, very professional :)

Veeeery nice, very lyrical playing and the most important dear Sandro, you play with your own way and not the Dinu Lipati-version.
