@russellmcgaffin You're right. They're not. In fact, you and your debbie downer friends been crying about Obamas birth certificate. Check. Oh and OBAMA did something BUSH couldn't accomplish in 15 months which was take out Bin Laden. Check. Keep crying and one last thing, get ready for another four years, you bitch.
@R3ST0N - Hmmm. I thought the comments were regarding this video about freezing out a news organization. Yeah it was the 15 months only, not the 6 or 7 years work before it. I'm glad Obama went over there personally and killed Osama by himself.
The only people that keep making a big deal about the birth certificate is you and other left leaning folks like NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC. Again not the topic being discussed here.
Calling me a bitch is quite a testament to you tolerance and inclusiveness.
@russellmcgaffin Actually if you know anything you'd know that Bush said himself in an interview that he's not worried about Bin Laden or was bothering to look for him. So that's what I was referring to. And you're obviously a fucking troll due to your comment about the POTUS going over there himself, like Bush would do the same or any figure head, moron. Trolling is quite a testament to your tolerance and inclusiveness. Have a nice day.
@R3ST0N And so did killing Osama suddenly stop terrorism? Yes calling me a moron because I have a different opinion does make you more superior. I can feel it. FYI Bush hasn't been president for a couple years now. Just thought I would let you know.
Read about a recent hunt by the CIA (Lorenz/Wesenberg etc.) with a death man, together with the BND/Mossad (Barthel, Marchewka, Siegel etc.) and the Mafia Police in Thüringen (Germany) after attacks and terrorism by the United States both Germanys extremists have been revealed (WIKILEAKS)! So user: SwordBladeify
This is fair and balanced reporting? Why would he let it slide that the Bush press secretary admitted to avoiding a media outlet? Thats exactly what they're upset about! Hypocrisy or just ignorance?
Hahahah, where do they come up with the 60% of Fox News watchers are democrats and independents? What fucking BS. BRING BACK THE FAIRNESS DOCTRINE NOW!!!!!! ANY STATION CALLING ITSELF NEWS SHOULD BE FORCED TO FOLLOW IT!!!
Since their ratings are the highest of any other network by nearly double I think it is prudent to say that 60% could be Dem's and Inde's. Fairness Doctrine = Censorship. It's what you can expect from a gov't like Chavez, Castro, Kim Jong Il,, AND OBAMA!!!
Read what I wrote, "a gov't like Obama" and now try to refute that the Democrats DON'T want censorship. After all, isn't this gov't Obama's? Isn't he a Democrat and dont' Democrats want cencorship?
Yoiu must be a liberal left speechless when facts are used to back up statements. You see, liberals make decisions based on their " feeeeeelings" and conservatives make decisions based on facts and common sense.
At the tiem the "death panel" statement was made, H.R.3200 stated on page 30: A government committee will decide what treatments and benefits you get (and, unlike an insurer, there will be no appeals process) and on page 42: The "Health Choices Commissioner" will decide health benefits for you. You will have no choice. None. Need anything else?
Wouldn't you agree that when someone else has the final word into your healthcare decisions, that sounds very much like a death panel which is similar to the Canadian system. Naturally of course they don't call it that either but the result is still the same.
Have you ever talked to a Canadian? My neighbor is an RN and recently became a citizen of the US after immigrating from Canada. She hated the Canadian healthcare system. Also, I live near a well known medical center and when I go to the RV Resort near there I meet many people from Canada who are here for healthcare because the waiting time is too long and too late. These are all facts. Now since I've been talking to you all your argument has been emotion. Are you starting to see my point?
I won't argue against free healthcare buddy. But you are quoting the experience of a few Canadians. Have you talked to any americans? Our healthcare system sucks, and it needs a change. Don't you agree?
I will concede that the system needs fixing but gov't control is NOT the answer. Remove the illegals, the waste, fraud and abuse from Medicare and Medicaid, pass goord tort reform and promote competition between private companies but the gov't isn't good at running anything! I can'tvthink of a gov't run program that is good. My daughter doesn't have insurance but can go to an emergency room get treated. Yes I think all AMERICANS should be covered but gov't involvement is NOT the solution.
You actually think that the insurance companies will some how grow competition over night? Who will compete against them right now? Businesses won't just sprout up. The post office is a pretty good run plan that provides comp. between fedex and ups..and government universities. I happen to go to one. And private colleges are out of business. Its only a choice, you don't have to take their healthcare if you don't want it.
The insurance companies are already competing Courtney. Our company negotiates a contract with different ones each year. If competition crossed state lines there'd be more competition. The post office's around here are being shut down. I know this because my post office is imcluded. Fedex and UPS are getting the business. Universities, tuition costs continue to increase limiting students. The gov't will offer cheaper medical so companies will stop providing healthcare to reduce costs.
They aren't competing. In most states insurance is controlled by one or two companies. I agree we should allow policies to cross state lines, but we need government to do that, do we not? All my postal offices are doing fine. I use them at least once a week, and prefer it to UPS and FedEx. And I used to go to a private institution, Emory Universtiy. their tuition was 20 grand a semester. I now go to Georgia State, tuition 3 grand
I swear, they compete here in Texas. One year we have Blue Cross, then Cigna, now United healthcare. Yes, the gov't needs to allow companies to compete across borders but not control the system which Democrats want and will happen. As for the post office, they are running with a multibillion dollar deficit and 10% have to be shut down. I'm not well versed on the college situation but I do know that private learning institutions are all more expensive from first grade on up.
Ok maybe in texas but 94% of the country has one or two healthcare insurers running the state. The government will not control the system man. They offer an option. If you like your healthcare, then you keep it, if you don't like it, or cannot afford it, then you can take the governments plan.its pretty simple. And like you said private education always cost more then public, which gives poor people like me a chance. Without the government I would be over 100 grand in debt thanks to Emory.
Think about this for a second. If I was an employer who pays for healthcare for my employees and then the gov't offers an affordable plan for people, what's to stop me from canceling my plan which would of course save me money which would then force all my employees to buy their OWN insurance for this "low rate" that all can afford? Then what you have is everyone on the gov't plan, ergo I would NOT be keeping my current insurance at all. I don't know what an Emory is.
Emory University is a school in the New Ivy Leauge..look it up. I understand what you are saying, but because there is a government plan it would cause the insurance companies to lower their prices in order to compete. I won't be insured under my mother for too much longer, and my job doesn't provide insurance. I'm going to have to buy my own. I cannot afford the prices as they are now
I looked up E.U. and now I understand your thinking. My daughter's uninsured, but has healthcare for emergencies only, I want my kids to be covered. I just don't think gov't is the answer. I have no problem with every American being covered I just have a problem with paying higher taxes for illegals who pay NO taxes. I feel abortion should not be tax funded ESPECIALLY international abortions (in the bill). Surely you can't disagree. I'm not proabortion or prolife but I don't want to pay for it.
I agree we shouldn't pay for things like that. I'm not sure what international abortion is though. But I like how we can have a civilized convo, unfortunately this isn't happening on capital hill. Seems like the republicans are just saying no, and asking insurance companies what to do. They need to give more options instead of just objecting
Whoever is in power they complain the other side is saying they offer no alternative. International abortion is the US pays doctors to perform abortions for people outside the US. If this ends here let me say that it has been a pleasure talking to a liberal. It's not very often a liberal and conservative can have rational discourse and for that I am very grateful.
I never new the US paid for abortions outside the US,and I agree that must stop. I also am grateful for this conversation. I wish our politicians could be as civilized as we are lol.
I just looked it up and it says that he lifted the ban on us tax payer dollars going to international abortion groups. This was established by Ronald Reagan and then has gone back in forth between dem. and rep. since then. Bush I put a ban, Clinton took it down. Bush II put another ban, and now Obama is taking it down. Just a cycle seems like
Yes, a cycle. Dems are pro-choice and Repubs are pro-life. I'm on the fence. I think there are circumstances where it would be prudent to perform them and those can be funded by the taxpayers like the health of the mother, rape, etc. But those that get them because they made a mistake should not be funded by taxpayers. I sent ou a comment on your channel a little while ago did you get it?
I believe there should be like a one time limit on abortions. If you get pregnant again then deal with it. Unless you get raped or your baby has no chance at life, or you cannot make it through a pregnancy, then you need to keep it. Yeah I got your message. Most of the people I pissed off aren't as civilized as you lol as you see with their comments
This is a good point you have. I myself have been caught in this same situation and through much discussion etc. we decided the pro choice route. As a responsible person I stayed with herthroughout the entire procedure as well as the funds necessary. This is what being a responsible person does. And yes...I enjoy civilized conversation for a change.
It seems like we both want whats best for the country, isn't there a way to compromise? For 45 million people to get healthcare, without government control and without insurers monopolizing the industry
We do want that what's best. I think if we would just take care of the illegal alien problem, which is HUGE! Then do tort reform. We did in Texas and costs dropped plus we had doctors fleeing other states without tort reform to come here. Then, fix the waste, fraud, and abuse of Medicare. Then, once we seen how all that panned out, then take care of the uninsured. I jsut think doing allthis at once is not a good idea. Can you tell I'm bored at work?

MSNBC IS partisan... it's pretty obvious to anyone. However, that said. The same applies to FOX doesn't it? Do you actually think Miss 2% (what's a percentage) Carlson or Brian Kilmeade are actually JOURNALISTS...??

your rabid vitriol is much too harsh for the circumstance, so perhaps you have some personal problems that are driving your warped sense of reality and urge for name calling. if it makes you feel better to spew inane blather then be my guest, but if you'd like your comments to be taken somewhat seriously i suggest you first land somewhere in the vicinity of planet earth.
