  • This helped me make up my and buy the S2! (Litterally) Nice work!

  • @SeriousAboutStrength Same here!

  • shows everybody that it aint the controller there something wrong with its you cant mix :) epic

  • Kind of weird that he doesn't have headphones on.

  • @kb1629 You dont need headphones to do a scratch routine

  • hes doing his thing yo and having fun. +rep

  • hey man this is sick

  • I dont believe anything I see concerning proffesional commercials especially mixing on dat controller. In da bedroom or garage regular video non industry edites I would believe . I don't think he did any of that .

  • where can you find the "can't get enough" chant

  • Sorry dummy but spend a little less time with your hand motions and mix

  • i have a s2 too.. can please teach me how to do the effect for the song to fade in at 2:09 mins??? NEED HELP!!! THANKS ALOT

  • @TheRemixxxxxxxxx Place a cue point at the spot you want the song to start playing. Keep pressing the cue button as you gradually increase the volume on that deck.

  • so talented!!! my head started automatically to dig to this, which i usually dont do.. this was HOT!

  • how does he see the tracks he loads in? i couldn't see a screen or a laptop O.o.

still most awesome mixing i've ever seen

  • hi

  • THE WORLD FAMOUS!!!!!

  • :o Amazing!

  • looks cool, sounds like shit. lol

  • @aktivistnyc Let's see your skills then. how many DMCs have you won? Who have you Dj'ed for on tour?

  • @talltrini10 Hahahahahha it's funny cause your upset. poor baby...

  • @aktivistnyc Like I thought, the answer is no, you just run your mouth on the internet. Carry on!

  • fact that he looks like he enjoys his stuff makes me smile :D

  • i think i've watched this 1000 times..

  • un juguete!!

  • TRACKLIST?!

  • Ok, so I guess I'm the only one? Too choppy, to simplistic and waaayyy too much scratching. If you get equipment like this, use it for a much wider variety of mixing styles than this.

  • @KingPaco013 you must be deaf? sorry to HEAR that...no pun intended

  • Can someone teach me to scratch?

  • Really well done. But still no Ean Golden.

  • 1:02

  • That was hot! I especially like the Can't get enough over Major Lazer - did NOT see that coming and made me literally jump up and start dancing!!!

  • Nice one!!! I saw you playing a sampel of pon di floor. Did you record it live in traktor? i thought there is no loop recording section on the controller? or is there any shift function i didn't noticed yet? maybe you can give me an answer, because i'm willing to buy :D

  • @berlinsouljah yeah there is live looping on the s2 ! first you loop whatever you want than press the shift key and it loads to your sample deck how ever long the loop is ^___^ enjoy !

  • sick

  • LOVE THIS!!!!

  • LEGEND!!!!!!!

  • @IRARevolver I've heard of this great site, where apparently you can type anything and it tells you exactly what you wanted to know... hmm I don't remember exactly what it's called.... goggle or something

  • To the naysayers pay attention to his message in this commercial... DJ Dummy gladly welcomes a challenge. "you wanna have a battle that's cool with me." Put them typing fingers where your tables are! #TeamDJDummy

  • This man sold me the s4, now I want the s2. Fuck

  • @netaberger94 First off what he doing is a classic battle set where you take samples and mix it together to talk about your opponent just one of many aspects of djing and one thing Dj Dummie is known for, so for you talk about skills you know nothing about is just funny....

  • @djnos2000 i know exactly what he is doing, im probably djing before you were even born and had played for crowds exceeding 15.000 people in Brazil...

what he is demoing is very basic and can be done without the programs and the digital gear. using digital gear can allow you to do things faaaaaaaaaaar more creative and far more completed.

    thats all i was saying.

  • @netaberger94 Lol he doing a set that hes been doing for the later part of that year on turntables.... hes just showin that he can do his same set on the S2... thats what Im saying so deflate your ego. dummy plays 15,000 crowds all over the world lol who cares.... you showed your ignorance and I just pointed it out.... I care nothing about you... just defending a DMC legend the end... may Native Instruments should contact you and you can make a better vid oh wait .... LOL

  • @netaberger94 PS im 11yrs older then you dumbass I just checked your profile

  • @djnos2000

    its not updated -_- moron...

  • @netaberger94 righttttt.... why would you put that on there then fag take your ass to class or something or what ever kids like you do these days

  • its not my fav. Console

but the performance and track selection is pretty niCe ;-) !

  • First time I see afro-beat turntablism and I love it.

  • I LOVE WHEN THE GENIUS IS AT WORK. HE CLEVERLY DISPLAYS THE CAPABILITIES OF THE S2 AND ENTERTAINS US AT THE SAME TIME. I'M QUITE SURE THAT NI'S INTENT OF THE VIDEO WAS FOR US TO WITNESS THE MANY FEATURES OF THE PRODUCT AND NOT FOR US TO WATCH DUMMY DJ. WHEN YOU GET YOUR S2, DO WHAT U DO ON IT AND PUT YOUR VIDEO UP. DUMMY YOU DID AN AWESOME JOB SHOWING US EXACTLY WHAT NI WANTS US TO SEE! KEEP PUSHING LOVE<3!!!!

  • @netaberger94, remember that he is an old school scratch dj most used to vinyls

  • sorry but that routine is shit lol

  • @dropdead024 implying YOU can do better.

  • those top comments are ridiculous shut up man

  • nice mixing bro. big ups from the UK massive.

  • Why do NI always use turntablists to show off their gear when their main buyers just want a stable conventional mixing tool and great effects.

You software and hardware are both brilliant but leave all the MCisms to the Serato guys.

  • @jameskorova Serato is NI also

  • @Jesse90175 Serato is "Rane"

  • @DJORYAN1 serato is also in part with NI

  • @Jesse90175 hahaha you stupid man? serato (rane) and NI (traktor) are two competing brands, they are not the same company, nor do they have the same owner, therefore they are not in part with each other. Dumbass

  • @LAXpromo your a noob man ..why did native instruments make a controller that is compatable with both traktor and serato

  • @jameskorova Wait... so Traktor comes out with slimmed down 2-channel scratch version of their already popular monster mix/remix controller and you are surprised that they are targeting this model at scratch DJs? That isn't even closed mindedness... that is just stupidity.

  • @jameskorova total agree

  • @jameskorova lol huh? This is a MIXING tool. Which is why there is two decks and the capability of mixing some pretty sick songs. How are they supposed to show it off? "here is a CDJ playing generic pop music, oh and here is a overdone transition." Seriously, think before you say shit.

  • @jameskorova Showing a trance/house DJ to do conventional mixing wouldn't do much to show the capabilities, it would be a much longer video. They got a scratch DJ so it can appeal to that market also. Are you an EDM DJ? Then you'd know the S4 and S2 are already superior in that category. It's either a turntablist or a controllerist and you have a great vid by NI that way.

  • Nice! :D

  • @smashcorefilms yes this is your answer the kontrol is the bomb I have the s4 I too cut it up and can't stand devices that do not have a tight reaction to scratch this system responds beautifully not to mention it's super light weight and the software is the ish....as you see my man DJ dummy doing it up he's on point..... I'm impressed that set obviously will work for some crowds not all but that set mainly to show and sort of brag what the controller does.... Big up respect DJ dummy and at btr

  • I like dj dummy good vid

  • "Hot dang dat boy good".

Follow Dj Dummy: @IMDJDUMMY on Twitter

  • @smashcore the scratch is tight, I have the S4 same jog wheel and its fire (and I used to be a traditionalist aka vinyl or nothing), can always get the time coded record if you want the digital/vinyl feel

  • @craigsimpson1987 I just sold my turntables for this. I want portability and tight scratchability. I hope I did the right thing.

  • Dummy is a legend. This is absolute.

  • How's the scratchin' like on the s2 compared to turntables?

  • Dj dummy is a beast!!! Dam!

  • They could learn a lot from a Dummy!!!!

  • man just so hard ! dj dummy man.... cant get enough
