  • Thank you. You should play it, it's a great piece.

  • Beautiful... I love how your flute catches the light and shines, glows and sparkles... combined with the mysterious and beautiful tones... it was very moving... and made me cry even... thank you.

  • You are more than welcome, director ninja, blue mage.

  • A bit slow, but beautiful nevertheless. Keep it up!

  • Thanks. I was playing at the pianist's speed because it was the second time he'd seen the piece and I don't like when it sounds rushed.

  • Hey I love this song. You are so lucky to be able to perform this piece! Great Job. I"m mesmerized :D Hey you could post more videos of you playing. That would be cool :D

  • Thank you. I would post more but when I try to work on something it nevers meets with my standard to actually post online. LOL

  • I could record it if I had the music, but I don't.

  • I love Maya. I just need to get the music for it.

  • I'm learning maya at the moment, its an absolutely gorgous peice, well worth getting.

  • You're incredible! I love this piece. I want to play it in the Rotary festival but a another flautist is playing it. I might play Fantaisie by Georges Hue but I've already played that this year. Hmm.... I'll have another look at some stuff...

You're really good. Your tone is so pure and you have an incredible vibrato. The runs are really even aswell.

  • Thank you!

  • I got to hear Dr. Deanna Hahn-Little perform this piece last summer. It is so beautiful.

  • Wow that was beautiful. Where did you buy the music?

  • absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!!

  • Yes I love this piece. There are a couple of other pieces of his I like. Once I get them I will work on them and post them. I sent you the info on getting his music. I hope you enjoy.

  • Great ^^

  • Thank you

  • My younger sister worked with Ian Clarke last summer and plays his music absolutely beautifully. Hypnosis is my favourite of her recordings, but I know she has been working on many others and winning some competitions while getting his music out there.

  • I love all of his pieces and enjoy introducing them to others that have never heard them.

  • Joseph, Wow-Wow-Wow-oh-WOW. Beautiful playing on a peaceful journey.

I love the control you have in the high register and fluidity in the slurred scales and arps. Nothing pushed me from the peaceful feeling of the music. It all works together - you and the pianist. Wow. Do you have a site on the web somewhere?

  • Thank you for the kind words. I do not have a personal page right now, just a MySpace page.

  • I love Ian Clarke's music and enjoyed hearing this piece, thanks for posting this REAL FLUTE video even though you weren't feeling 100%. You should go to my video of Clarke's Great Train Race and click "post a video response" then select this video. That way my viewers should be able to find this video, too.

  • Thank you, I posted the video response. I love Ian Clarke's music. The Great Train Race is one I want to get.

  • Very nice - flute, piano and music!!! I am not sick and have no breathing problems, and I would be happy if I could play so well, hahahaha. 5/5 from me.

  • Thank you very much for your compliment. I watched a couple of your videos and you don't have far to go. :-) Everything is practice.

  • Thank you, yes, everything is practice and exactly that is my problem, hahahahah!

  • Where did you find he's music.

  • I got mine from FluteWorld at a convention you can get it at their website.

  • Thnx
