and thank you again for responding back to my stupid questions earlier he he he
But I am traveling with my American blonde friend and another friend who is from Peru. They both keep warning me about not to carry my mac and expensive canon camera!!! I get so torn about this but I really need my laptop and camera.
@playgecko haha...of course, it is SAFE for anyone who uses a little common sense and many people travel with laptops and camera's,,,,just keep them in a secure place when not using them (but not in your rental car)
Whoa, didn't know about the TP situation. Might seem like an odd question but if one was to own a home there, is there a trash service that will come door-to-door and pick up trash like in the US or how is used TP ultimately thrown out? Excellent vids, BTW.
thanx, always appreciated. We'll be in San Jose Wed, Thur. Manuel Antonio Fri, Saturday and back here Sunday.... if you're around the park,,,we're always around.....thanx again.
haha-- they do not really charge per piece of toilet paper! They do charge 100 or 200 colones (about .25 - .40 USD) to USE the bathroom if you are not a client of that restaurant or gas station.
hey rjlevin11, well, you are kinda right too. I've seen both. In many places they actually give you the toilet paper before going in, and in others you pay to use the bathroom and the toilet paper is 'included'. I think the point is more to be prepared if your cruisin around the country or backpacking, especially in rural places because many times there's no attendants OR toilet paper, just the bathroom- so it couldn't hurt to carry some extra TP. thanx for the comment and clarification.
This is where we need your help & maybe more suggestions?
