@EasyExpertVillage If you're okay with "cheating" a little bit, you can play a Bb without the barre, and it can technically still be considered a Bb, even though it's closer to an A. This is because the requirement for a chord to be considered a chord is only 3 notes. So you can take the barre off, but it may not sound as good. However, it's only a difference of one fret on two strings, so it shouldn't be much of a difference. As for F, he explains the positions. Hope it helps. :)

@Makoman2008 lol actually i had my guitar lesson today and my teacher told me u can play it as a 6th string root barre on the 6th fret. since the frets are smaller as they get higher, it's way easier to do a barre, and it sounds cooler. and thanks, i actually wish i could change my name, lol. i still love paintball, but the geek1 part is pretty stupid.

Just wanted to comment that I think your tutorial is the best I've seen so far of this song but I wonder if its truly "Beginner" as you state. The way you play it seems very difficult and to be honest I've watch the youtube videos of how Cage elephant actually plays it and they seem to not use the chords you use. In fact they seem to be playing an easier rendition. Not to say yours isn't bad but theres got to be an easier way to play this.

i have a question, well a few q's. so the intro, chorus, and solo is the same thing, strumming pattern and all, and the verse is the other part right? so in other words the order of that would be intro, verse, chorus, v, c, solo, v, & c. of the song. and in that same order u play that x4 each exept for the solo which is only x2. am I right?

@djhersheys321 Let low E be string 1 and high E be string 6. Hold down strings 2 and 6 with your index finger (like a bar, but the other strings don't matter) on the first fret and then use your other 3 fingers to hold down strings 3, 4, and 5 on the third fret. Don't play the string 1.
