It's a good product, but the retractable mechanism doesn't last. I had to replace it 3 times in 15 years, is that normal? Wish could buy only one side, seems the rough velcro side always breaks! But still buying another one, to replace the side that broke again, can't beat the retractable feature!
I have an 07 armada and the pillars on boths sides of the ends of the windshield are already thick enough as to create some blind spots while drving.
I took my eclipse sunshade off becaue it really doesnt hide that well...added to the armadas thick pillars and I was afraid that my wife would hit someone or something while driving
or you can just tint your windshield with a nice 50% (not dark at all) window film; blocking the heat and glare. you wont even know its there...not like that bulky 'accordion' shade. nice demo though Todd.
Since having any film at all on your windshield is illegal in some states, we would not suggest that. In addition to that, the Eclipse Sunshade hides nicely on the sides of the windshield and provides a very good amount of heat rejection without having to worry about being legal in your state or not. Thanks for viewing our video and taking the time to comment though wharfrat67.
I have a sunshade installed on my vehicle and my wife's and we both love them. I had one installed at the Quality Bumper in Peoria and the other at the store in Phoenix. Now that I see this video, I wouldn't hesitate to put the next one on myself. Thank you Quality Bumper!
Very informative video. I have an Eclipse Sun Shade myself and I purchased it from the Quality Bumper location on Grand Ave. The staff was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The sun shade itself is a great product and very easy to use. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

while the shade doesn't reject heat while you're driving, it serves its purpose while parked. all in all...a good product.
you guys are so cute
