I don't like the term hip hop. When I was growing up we called it rap music. Hip hop is watered down like a scene from jaws. Real rap music still exists all over. Hip Hop has been dead since the early 90's.

When it was called "rap" music it had MUCH MUCH more creativity and was cutting edge because it was considered alternative. You couldn't FIND a club in Miami that played 'hip hop' until the late 90's.
