so rarely these days do you get a show be it a movie, tv series, documentary that can explore such relevant and questioning issues for our time, in such a unique and original story as bsg,the final episode of series 3 and especialy the last 15 minutes or so could quite possibly be the most exciting, shocking, engaging bit of t.v i have ever seen and backed up by a amazing remake of one of the greatest songs ever made (R.I.P hendrix) literaly had my jaw open for the whole show

Awesome song for an awesome show. It sagged a little half way through series 3, but that was because of interfering execs. They stopped, and it turned awesome again.

But even the worse episodes were brilliant and of a much higher calibre in all respects than most of the other tv junk.

there were one or two below par episodes... but no bad ones.... its just that the standard of the show is so high (due to its epicness, lol)... its just that some seem forgettable at worst... but the good ones more than make up for the slightly less epic ones

The composer's name is Bear McCreary, and you can get the soundtracks to all four seasons of BSG via Amazon and similar sites. McCreary also made the soundtracks to Caprica and the Sarah Connor Chronicles. Search YT for his name and you can find recordings of his concerts from the BSG-concert-tour. He is absolutely great!
