I tried a Hummer H2 once.. When you run it hard the MPG meter shows 1. Thats ONE mile to the gallon. Being an american car its all show and all fake. Its not strong, not quick and lacks all capabilities offroad. GM bought the rights to make this thing but being GM they didnt spend any money on research and development but instead simply re-dressed a god damn Chevrolet Tahoe. Which is the worst SUV in the known universe.

If your planning to buy a $56,000 SUV buy the Mercedies bens GL CDI because there fuel effeciency they do great on offroads, and its easier to drive than the H2 because I've driven the GL the otherday and my cousin got it to go 500 miles with one tank of diesle

these get like at least 10mpg witch is not bad considering most cars with v8s made before 1990 got way worse than that.

I'm sick of people comparing the Prius to the Hummer. They are two completely different cars made for two different purposes. Therefore, they cannot be compared!
Hummer is a SUV off road car, so fuel efficiency is NOT the concern. I love how people are like "hummers are not fuel efficient..." but no shit: hummers have to have large engines for off road purposes. My friends range rover gets around 16 mpg, whereas my hummer H2 gets around 13 mpg.
