  • This song brings back so many memories. Came out in 1976 when I graduated H.S, and leaving many friends behind. I got to see them for the first time on 1978 when they did a free concert at the CitiCorp Center in NYC. I cut class to go see. Those were the days. These songs are the soundtrack to my youth.

  • Man, this is really music! i wish i had been alive in this time in which music actually meant something! A time in which the lyrics to a song had a message and it was beautiful. • @jlockettbey Love and pride usually don't come in package deal, if that were the case, life would be a lot easier. If you have too much pride, no one is going to dare to come near you!

  • They're one of the best vocal groups of the 70's . in the same class of The Stylistics , The Spinners , The O'Jays , The Trammps and The Chi-Lites .

  • I remember some of my friends sang this song is my fifth grade talent show in 1977 and won first prize because of the chereography they did. We used to sing this song as kids when it came on the radio or just hanging out. Those were the days, now if a grown- up caught singing it they would say "Boys stop singing grown- up music" but they would laugh themselves.

Dramatics, Whispers, Harold Melvin Blue Notes, Ojays, Enchantment, The Jackson 5.
