For the first time, I also saw #9200 today. This is one of your best-sounding Nova recordings and yet this bus didn't even whine while passing me;( It just roared.
This was the 88 route btw.

Letus just the the god that these GMC coach are still in use with the 6V92-TA sounds screaming like in there. this is because new york is the grearest city in the world with the gereatest transit athourity in the world. I began to choke ups when i hear this GMC coach sound again.like yesterday times pass quick its like 1981 again i siad. God thank god for it these detroits 6V92 TAs are screaming just like all new.all who loves this sound with me i consider a good friends of mine!!!

Thank you for your replies.....and i understand all these GMCs were over haulled in the mid 1990S years freshly painted plus retrofit with a number of features.but the 6V92TA engines needed very few maintainces what is the same as the Voiths. The classic GMC sound in there with 6V92TA screaming tells me that the coach didnt neer much over haulling in 1997. This GMC sound is the best kind in the world.everybody lobed the sound like screaming..like this 6V92TA Voit engine i always remenber.

How old is this...when did you ride this old old GMC coach? This is the classic screaming 6V92-TA with the soothing Voith. It sound sooo goood as well....brand SPANKING NEW!!!! It's like im back in 1981 all over again going to parties and nightclubs. A+10Stars

Best V-731 whine from an inside bus recording I've heard so far! This bus would have to whine like crazy on the outside. Your mic is pretty sensitive (high quality) or the bus is unusual

True, this bus sounded better than a 4900 series Nova IMO, and they sound pretty good.
