  • I could definitely see this at a wedding--I could see the bridesmaids walking down to the minor key and then switching to the major key for the bride. Would take a bit of finessing, perhaps some rewriting and filling out, and probably a big "E" instead of the usual big Bb, but it could be something classic *and* new--a difficult trick to pull off.

  • If you would put some music in "A major" for me to download, I would love to purchase it. Please respond here and let me know. I like what you did here. :-)

  • you are helping me with a science project right now

  • Hey, this is so fun! What a wonderful idea to experiment with the difference in sound and effect between major and minor!

  • It's FUR Elise, not FOR.

  • @brco2003 Do you say "Moonlight Sonata" in German as well?

  • @rwicker05yes No, I don't, because it's not common to use its German name. However, the name for this peace in question is always said in German.

  • @rwicker05yes Yes, I do. Why would one call it something else?

  • @brco2003 Don't be ridiculous. It's Mondscheinsonate in German. Also it is Für (or fuer) Elise in German, not fur. The song isn't about an animal.

  • @Agatheos The song isn't about an animal. "Fur" is a German word meaning "for".

  • @brco2003 What did I just say? And still it is not F U R but Für or, since you probably can't make an Ü also F U E R.

  • @rwicker05yes what language is Elise in?

  • @MrTatemon It's a name.

  • @4DPerformance obviously. but if you didnt kno names can also be in languages....... like from spanish to english...... juan- john......carlos-charles.... alejandro-alexander...... do you know what language Elise is in?

  • @MrTatemon "Fur Elise" is German for "For Elise."

  • @spy153 so the name is the same in both english and german?

  • @rwicker05yes haha, dealt with.

  • @rwicker05yes The Piano Sonata No. 14 in C♯ minor "Quasi una fantasia" was not named moonlight sonata by Beethoven. It's Fur Not For

  • @rwicker05yes hahahah ur the boss

  • @brco2003 rwicker05yes destroyed you!! LOSER!!

  • LOOOOL (For Elise) :)

  • this is so....odd!

    nice playing though :)

  • I really like it in the major key it sounds very pretty, and very different.

  • A little weird but very interesting.

  • @11renn Why thank you!

  • The major part actually sounded really good, until it went into the little bridge at :44, it just sounds...WRONG that way, xD

Also, cool concept! It never occurred to me to fiddle with the major/minor tonalities of these pieces. I'll have to try that some time myself =)

Thanks for sharing with us ^_^

  • @SergeOfArniVillage No prob sharing! I'm glad you thought it was cool, it was going to be in a different rhythm like swing but putting it in a parallel key was way cooler. Thanks for the comment and let me know if you've recorded a song in a parallel key!

  • :) Not bad at all. Now try playing it in one of the modes!

  • @MERTx123 Now that's an interesting concept! I might have to try that out and maybe even make a video response. :)
