  • JULY!!!!!, july 1st, july 2nd, july 3rd july 4th (with flat face and monotone voice)

  • Jeff Bergman does a much better Bugs voice than Billy West and Joe Alaskey. But Alaskey did the best Daffy and Sylvester.

This is how the voices should be:

    - Jeff Bergman as Bugs

    - Billy West as Elmer Fudd and Marvin the Martian

    - Joe Alaskey as Daffy and Sylvester

    - Bill Farmer as Foghorn Leghorn

    - June Foray as Granny and Witch Hazel

As for Tweety, Joe Alaskey's version was terrible. Listen to Tweety's voice in Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries.

  • @LotsaSpaghetti84 They need to stick to specific voice actors for each character, like what Disney does with their characters. No more changing voice actors every few years.

  • so bugs is 71 years old huh?

  • @TheOptimus17Prime but what is his theoretical age? Like how in Tiny Toons Buster and Babs were about 13-14 is Bugs like 20 or 21 or something around that age anyway ..I guess.

  • @hinatachan96 I'd say mid to late 20s

  • @TheOptimus17Prime yeah, after seeing reunion I guess he is about 27 or 28 :-? but he is not older than 30

  • @ChrisRJ Oh, true. So April 30th could be Porky's birthday.

  • Hey! That's my birthday too !! :) yay :p

  • Heh, bugs' birthday is 3 days after mine.

  • @InfernotheFox And 4 days after mine :P

  • Damn their designs are terrible!

  • @LotsaSpaghetti84 says you

  • I was hoping Daffy would say April 30th (Porky's Hare Hunt), since that was Bug's prototype appearance, but not his official appearance in July 27. (A Wild Hare)

  • hey! I... really liked it!! :D

  • I loved the old cartoon but i love this cartoon also!!! Things will never be the same guys, rule of life. This show has its good points, and its a hell of a lot better than anything else on cartoon network!

  • my birthday is July 27th

  • July 27 1940 – The animated short A Wild Hare is released, introducing the character of Bugs Bunny.

    oh my god

  • They...just don't make'em like they used to.

  • this has to be the most predictable show ever.

  • july 27 1940 :p

  • I'l hand it to Daff, I don't know what my best pal's favourite colour is or when his Birthday is or when he goes to bed!

  • Do they have jobs by any chance? I'm just curious

  • i love this show!

  • What year? 1940

  • HAHAHAHA

  • LOVE this show XD <3

  • This year, Bugs will be 71 years old -- yipe!!! Talk about your grey hares!!!

  • @looneywoman I might be the only one on youtube to get your fancy word play. But you made me laugh, good job!

  • @iSkeleton Thanks! :) :) :)

  • @looneywoman 71, that's more than 800 years old in rabbit years.

  • @Zalozis We should all look that good at 71!!!

  • July 27th, THAT'S MY BIRTHDAY 0.0 I share the same birthday as Bugs Bunny

  • Someone has

  • Anyone notice that bugs bunny is more emotional then the old looney toons?

  • i think bugs' birthday really IS July 27

  • bugs bunny is my favorite charecter

  • Daffy is ridiculous xD

  • Comment removed

  • is Bugs birthday really July 27??? if so i need to get him a card!

  • @Neseer7 Nothing, because a bunny isn't a person

  • "Under Friz Freleng, Bugs was sarcastic, prone to break out into dance, playful, pushy, wisecracking, and loved to pull pranks. Bugs had to think harder in Friz' cartoons because Friz threw him smarter enemies to mess with.

Under Robert McKimson, Bugs was brash, bold, loud, talkative, simple minded, easily distracted, perverted, quick tempered and often cowardly. Under McKimson, Bugs is the most loud and talkative that I have ever seen him."

    SpootyRants

  • Comment removed

  • "Under Chuck Jones, typically, he was calm, smug, thoughtful, cool, collected, suave, intelligent, innocent until provoked, arrogant, sophisticated and free spirited. Sometimes, under Chuck, Bugs said nothing at all. He made Bugs the straight man. The hero.

Under Bob Clampett, Bugs was an instigator, a bad guy, off the wall, hyper, explosive, violent, crazy and often times a LOSER. Bob's Bugs was the one that would heckle an enemy because he was bored. "

    SpootyRants

  • @Mitarashiboi So which director's version of Bugs do you like best? I prefer Jones and Freleng. Clampett's cartoons were too wild, wacky, and insane; he was very similar to Tex Avery.

Robert McKimson had his highs and lows. His cartoons were borderline boring at times, while Freleng's were full of energy, wit, and charm. Jones mostly relied on quick puns and witty dialogue.

  • Okay, for those saying that Bugs is "out of character" watch these four CLASSIC cartoons and watch how he's not just ONE personality. Under different directors he's different though some traits over lap.

    The Wind Blown Hare

    Ali Baba Bunny

    Hare Trigger

    The Wacky Wabbit

Bugs is not just one specific thing. He's many things and the most complex. If you've seen Spooty Rants on Livejournal, you know who I'm quoting.

  • Why is Bugs the straight man? e___e;

  • Bugs, isn't the CRAZY RABBIT Like before!

  • In all fairness, I guess it could have been worse. They could have done a humorlessly creepy 3D recreation, a la the new "Garfield" show on CN.

  • @looneywoman I tried to watch that on netflix stream once...Poor Lorenzo Music is probably spinning in his grave.

  • @Mysticgamer Precisely. Couldn't agree more!

  • Where are Carl Stalling and Michael Maltese when you need them?!?

  • That's my GirlF`riend's B-day too, lol

  • "unfortunately kids need every little thing spelled out to them. Back then things happened "just because." Very true. It's the same thing with anime now a days.

  • Why is Bugs Bunny purple?

  • @Chev427BB just noticed that now lol :P

  • @Chev427BB I wonder why people say that. He's not.

  • @Chev427BB The fixed that.

  • @Chev427BB They did the same thing to Tom in Tom and Jerry, but I don't know why.

  • @Chev427BB youtube really needs to fuck itself up the ass with a spiked dildo.

  • @Chev427BB /watch?v=L7_jYl8A73g

just watch the intro, it will not answer your question, but will help a little bit ;)

  • i decided to watch this show... its actually pretty funny... i have one problem with it though... THEY ARENT THE LOONEY TUNES!!! why would they do this really? this show would be better if it wasnt looney tunes... cause they arent so looney in here... and why is daffy a complete fucking idiot? i really would like if they would have at least tried to bring back the looney tunes...

  • aye!!. we have the same b-day!!!!! i feel special now...: D

  • Everybody, please STOP comparing this show to the original shorts. You simply cannot top those. Take this as its own, standalone effort, and it's pretty darn good.

  • If thir birthdays are their first appearance, then their birthdays and ages would be: Bugs-July 27 40, 71 Daffy-April 17 1937, 74 Yosemite Sam-May 5 1945, 66 Speedy Gonzales-Aug. 39 1953, 58 Lola-Nov. 15 1996, 15(She does look her actual age doesn't she) Wile E. and Roadrunner-Sep. 16 1949, 62 Pepe Le Pew-Jan. 6 1945, 66 Marvin-July 24 1948, 63 Sylvester-March 24 1945, 66 Tweety-Nov. 21 1942, 69 Gophers-Jan. 25 1947,64 Taz-June 19 1954, 57 Foghorn-Aug. 31 1946, 65
  • The voices suck

  • That birthday Bugs said July 27 is actually his first appearance in A Wild Hare. July 27 1940, so by real world time Bugs would actually be 71 years old. If thats the case would that mean that Daffy's birthday is April 17 since his first appearance was in April 17 1937 in Porky's Duck Hunt making him 74 years old?(3 years older than Bugs)

  • Oh Daffy, you are so funny.

  • Man, they changed them all way too much. Even when Buggs hung out with Daffy, he was never this serious and boring. Daffy may have been an idiot, but this new series just goes OVERBOARD with his stupidity, Lola was never the one to obsess over Buggs, it was the other way around. So many other stuff that just changed for the worse. They could have at least kept them all in character..shesh.

  • OH GOD! Looney tunes is good again!!!

  • Why would they bring looney toons back from the peaceful sleep of being a show that ended when it needed to (unlike spongebob which has gone way past when it needed to stop) just to ruin it?

  • bad feeling this show is a new low for cartoon network

  • @guzman164

i think it's new and a good kind of a change.. .and no joke it's way better than that other crap on Cartoonnetwork

  • @luyareelius me too :)

  • (Later in the episode)

"....I say it with a lot of sarcasm....Ehhhhhhh...."

    'I DON'T DO MONDAYS!!!!"

*Bugs drops his head in shame*

  • Hell, this is a lot better than Baby Looney Tunes, which was an abomination, and its certainly better than that Loonatics crap we got a couple of years ago.

I like the idea of Daffy & Bugs being in their own sitcom and inhabiting a normal world with all these wacky characters. It sounds kinda fun.

  • @NYG4LIFE123 Lol Baby Looney tunes got super annoying...

Just hearing the theme made me BLOW MY STACK!!! >:O *explodes*

  • Leo.

  • I love this show xD

  • wow daffy! xD <3

  • aha! july 27th is my birthday :L i feel so special...

  • his full birth date is July 27, 1940

  • @InvaderKinz97 Then they would all be like 70! X)

  • Bring Tiny Toons back! The New Looney Tunes are terrible. Spielberg and New Tiny Toons. Thats the only thing what Warner Bros can do.

  • seen this episode. hilarious. his middle name is Daffy Melvin Duck. Or, Daffy prefers... Daffy Arrrrmando Duck.

  • I was born on july 27 too yay I hane the same birthday as bugs:)

  • July 27 that was when the first official Bugs Bunny cartoon was shown

  • wow why cant canada gett this.. Always luved Bugs Bunny.

  • I'm sorry but this just looks like someone tossed Looney Tunes DVDs and Friends DVDs in a blender together and this is the result.

  • The year he was "born" was 1940.

  • Dang. Bugs and Daffy are old farts. xD

But they're epic old farts, so who cares. x3

  • Hey, July 27th is MY birthday!!!

  • So main difference between the classic and the new: structure. The old ones HAD NO REAL STRUCTURE. If anything it was simple. Like Speedy Gonzales. He had a formula: just outrun and outwit Sylvester. NOT preach about being a good best friend to Daffy. Not saying it isn't a good message but its the wrong cartoon for it. The new ones have some sort of story behind them because today unfortunately kids need every little thing spelled out to them. Back then things happened "just because" (FUNNY!)

  • @aQuickBit EXACTLY. The old cartoons were timeless because they had no lessons, no structure, no logic, nothing that would tie them to reality, that's why they were funny. They were devoid of complex plots and lessons, they didn't need them. This formula does not work for these characters. Bugs doesn't need friends, he's indifferent to everyone because he can troll anybody. Daffy needs no friends because he hates everyone, especially Bugs.

  • @Fishtacocat Yup I couldn't agree more. And Elmer Fudd doesn't need to be some CEO dude who raps about grilled f-ing cheese. Seriously? He has no point now. I feel like (more like know) people today think we cannot have stereotypes cause its bad for kids. That takes away from humor. Honestly I never even picked up on the stereotypes as a child. It was a rabbit and a duck. Haha I sound like a 65 year old complaining about "kids these days" when in reality a 20 year old is still a kid.

  • @aQuickBit lol naw~ in a way I agree with you. That scene was a bit much for me.

  • Comment removed

  • @aQuickBit You know, I don't think kids need everything spelled out for them; but the executive producers and money handlers think kids need things spelled out for them. So, alas, here we are. I guess we should just be glad they're allowing Speedy and Porky Pig on tv, since they'd been banned in the past for being offensive.

  • @aQuickBit

Oh, that was just the first episode.

  • @DarkMarc9001 oh, well i havent watched it since....

  • @aQuickBit

Trust me, there might be predictable situations, but it gets good.

  • @aQuickBit you forgot the other main difference. the old Looney Tunes were funny.

  • @Tprinces well I tried to with that (FUNNY!) at the end....i was running out of character to use haha

  • @aQuickBit This show is not preaching anything. This is not the first looney tunes cartoon with an actual plot. This show is very funny and realizes this is 2011 not 1963. The sooner everyone realizes that the better.

  • @BobtheX "The sooner everyone realizes that the better" haha wow. I'm not saying you can't like the new one, but what I am saying is that you are liking a cartoon that really doesn't follow its roots at all. Its like inventing a new skittles cookie. Even though its still a cookie (same characters) its completely different flavored and you get a different experience with it. I think most of us fell in love with classical chocolate chip so go have fun with yer skittles. Realize that Bob.

  • @aQuickBit This cartoon does not completely abandon its roots. Its actually quite reminiscent of Tiny Toons in a way. The point is its trying to give a different experience. The classic cartoons were great, but its entirely possible a newer show could be even better. What ever kind of cookie you like, the internet exist so you can... eat it? I don't know, I don't even get this metaphor.

  • @BobtheX THANK YOU!

  • In answer to your question: 1940. Which makes him 70.

And people say kids won't watch shows about old folks.

  • @WackdProductions And Daffy's 75, while Porky's even older, he might be about 79 or 80. Man, those guys are getting elderly, eh?

  • anyone notice the change in the Bugs and Daffy Formula? I mean in the classic cartoons Daffy was always annoyed by Bugs who was always a step ahead of Daffy. But here Daffy seems to be extremely annoying Even to Bugs

  • holy shit me and bugs almost have the same birthday only 5 days apart

  • I got the same birthday as Bugs too! :P

  • @Wolfscar45 Thats pretty awesome :D

  • I love what I've seen of the new show so far. Its kinda awesome that bugs and I have the same birthday.

  • Happy belated b-day, daffy.

  • Isn't it like in 1940?

  • Comment removed

  • @futboyz The dude that uploaded this asked what year at the end of the video.

  • @RoyalHustler09 | 1940.

  • @RoyalHustler09 You are right my good friend!!!

  • cant they just draw bugs bunny like they did in the movie "looney tunes back in action"?

  • @DTMfun That does question me too, though the this design isn't too bad, not perfect but still bearable and I don't think it will ruin the show. The only designs Ireally do have a problem with are Granny and Porky's.

  • Its nice to see that they would bring the lonney tunes back, but the original is always better

  • Two*

  • It's nice to see these too kind of getting along

  • Yep. Bugs Bunny's birthday really is July 27.

His first official appearance was back in 1940 in "A Wild Hare." Not He would be 70 years old right now turning 71 soon in July.

Daffy is actually 3 years older than Bugs. (Not counting Bug's original prototype appearance)

  • 1939

  • Yeah born July 27th 1940 lol hes turning 71 this year

  • lol i can't wait for this i missed looney tunes

  • I'm glad that they're bringing Looney Tunes Back. I understand that they're trying to appeal LT to a younger generation. And!! CN are showing the classic Looney Tunes in the mornings and in the afternoons, so it's all good. I just hope they continue to show the oldies and this show, after its premieried. It can have younger kids coming to the old and the new. That'll be good too.

  • i just realized that bugs has a new jersey accent cause of the way he says birthday

  • @cplpsvids he's always been based on a new yorker who uses his brains and improvization to get out of awkward situations

  • OOOOOOOO man. the writing is SOOO GOOOOD!!!!!

  • Why the f*ck is bugs bunny purple?

  • @TwistedVampireRobot It's just the outline of him,haha XD

  • His birth year would be 1940. Making him almost 71 this year ::D

  • @damonika09 he's probably supposed to be younger in this show judging on how they act

  • I played this game with my friend, once. What good fun.

  • I mean, I'll give it a chance. I'm happy that they're putting a Looney Tunes cartoon ON CN, the very characters that made the channel any GOOD in the first place...But there wouldn't be any need to kiddify it so much; I would REALLY like to see some great writing on this show that at least matches what the classic Looney Tunes gave us.

  • @lynnvryett Keep dreaming. That can't be done. The originals were done in a time different from ours, and it's impossible to do.

  • @NinJutsuDude1997

it's not impossible. I know the originals are a product of their time. What I'm saying is that good writing wouldn't hurt.

  • To be honest, I don't like the direction in which this cartoon's gonna go. I just don't like the character design or the fact that it looks like they (might have) used flash. Plus, Bugs seems so outta character; Daffy's about the same but Bugs seems Very outta character. Sure, he's a chill out guy, but in this he seems too nonchalant. I wanna see some wit. I guess I'm just used to WB animating their characters in top quality. Every commercial I see for this just bores me.

  • Bugs WOULD be a Leo.

  • Wow, they've changed. Bugs is more chilled out and Daffy's hyper and not as narcissistic.

    Can't wait.

  • I gotta say, I'm starting to like the animation and jokes. Maybe this one does have promise...

  • I absolutely love Daffy xD not just this Daffy, but the originaly Daffy and all the other Daffys. Change him all you want, I just always end up lovin' the little nutjob.

  • jeffs bugs and daffy dosnet sound like it use to

  • FINALLY!!1 IT RETUNS!! i mean yeah it's not the same anvil and blast cartoon, BUT AT LEAST THEY BROUGHT SOMETHING!!

  • Bugs was born on April 30, 1938. But he was known as Bugs Bunny on July 27, 1940.

  • @Joemamma69000 nice find. Suck it "oswald the lucky rabbit" Disney would of ruined him anyways :P

  • crap mine is the 24th!!

  • Can't wait Loves the looney tunes <3

  • Someone is going to be 71 on July 27

  • July 27th?! That is my birthday! I have the same birthday as Bugs Bunny!

  • @RyuSpike Congrats! :D

  • Yeeeeeeeeahhhhhhhhhhhh, Looney Tunes about to take over Cartoon Network again.

About time. It's been, what, 7 years?

  • JULY!July 1st July 2nd July 3rd July 4th 5TH!6TH!7TH!8TH!9TH!10TH!July 27th.JULY 27TH!

  • lol I have the same birthday as Bugs! XD

  • LOL!! Looney Tunes meets Will and Grace!

  • this show looks cool,, but i just wish joe alasky who played his voice on duck dodgers, would have played daffy ducks voice better,, this guys voice sounds a lil to deep for daffy

  • I am going to enjoy and love the heck out of this show even most of you won't.

  • @JackPrankster | AGREED!

  • WOW! That...that was Bug's actual birth-day! Looked it up myself.

  • Hmmm considering it's Looney Tunes this maybe the one new show on CN worth watching! Then again CN has been bringing out so many lame pathetic shows lately, it's hard to tell!

  • haha July 27th is MY BIRTHDAY XD!!!!
