TO ANSWER THE MEDICARE QUESTION - The system should not be repealed but an amendment should be added which states, "Congress shall provide health benefits for those above a certain age, as determined by legislation"

If the amendment passes, then Medicare is constitutional. If the amendment does not pass, then it's unconstitutional (per amend. X).

Same rational applies to every other program that currently exists but is not explicitly granted as a power to the U.S. Congress.

ODonnell mentioned Medicare is single payer, true, but it does not cover many items, unless you pay for part B, and also a PRIVATE SUPPLEMENT PLAN, which is not cheap, he did not mention medicaid, or welfare, which are not single payer, they are paid by the taxpayer, probably slipped his mind. What you fail to think about is this the law that made Medicare has been modified and what forces changed it? The corporate interest buy the votes to change laws to their liking. The people which are the larger number 72% favor the public option. You may not but you are not that 72% are you. I agree with you that Ms. Abrams is being put forward as an example, but I disagree that this was a malicious interview.

Ms. Abrams made some strong accusations in a public political forum, and was then called on to elaborate, which she does not appear to be able to do very articulately.

I don't envy the uncomfortable position she was put in on this program. But let's not forget that she alone was responsible for putting herself there. MSNBC does not force anyone to appear on their programs.
