i thought the same thing when i purchased the car. Checked the vin on the dash. its an 86. so someone changed the hatch cause its supposed to be on the window. i want a 350TPI setup.
i need to find a WORKING mass airtake sensor to pass emissions. anyone know where i can get one for a 1985 firebird? ill order it or if theres a place in phoenix, az... message me. thanks
Are you sure it' an 86? it doesn't have a 3rd brake light on the hatch like the 86 model...unless you removed it?
anyway, nice car! I had a 88 GTA with a 350tpi, and it was a rocket! F-body life! lol

Its an 86. Previous owner changed out the hatch. I was thinking the same thing.
