@MrsGoodbye ~ there were about three different versions and if you want the original I suggest watching "The Thief and the Cobbler: Recobbled Cut" edited as it was intended by Williams. (There are no songs, however, since that was added later for distribution)

@MrsGoodbye There was never a disney version. Plus the version that your thinkning of is the one entitled Arabian Knight which was the Miramax version. That's the version that has Matthew Broderick voicing Tack. Obviously the Tack isn't voiced by Matthew here.

@ 7:11 why didn't Zigzag pierce Tack through the heart with that giant spear? trousers like the aren't fit for stopping pins let alone swords or knives. Plus would've made it more dramatic and heroic if Tack died in battle, even though he was up against an armada.
