A dealership here has a V I had dibbs on it but just didn't feel the need to pull the trigger on a 25K car that got a little better gas mileage. That V is a great investment for a group that goes to work every day it 4 people splitting the expense of this car will return money into their pocket the car seems to be incredibly comfy in the rear seems they put seats like the passenger all around. I like the car it would make a great taxi.
@toyotakirkland You got that right they will not sit on the lot that is for sure one geek goes to fuel economy dot gov and they will see the staggering abount of money they save using this car. The higher fuel prices go the quicker you pay off the car with fuel savings. It's that simple you are gonna see fuel prices rise we are past peak oil weather people want to recognize it or not they are gonna see it come to pass fuel prices are gonna go up anytime economy recovers causing economy to tank.
I want a plug in but have to get a lot more miles from my prius I own now. $31K is a lot of money for a car I am so near trading my xB for a prius. I am so happy with the quality of this car not that the 06xB is not a great car it is all I can say when your main driver is a prius and the other car is an xB you want to drive that prius all the time bc the xB is a guzzler compared to that prius. When you go to fuel economy dot gov you get it saving fuel adds up over the years. Ron Paul 2012
@cdltpx " when your main driver is a prius and the other car is an xB you want to drive that prius all the time bc the xB is a guzzler compared to that prius" is probably the best reasoning to buy a Prius V ever! Hope you get the one you want really soon.
No doubt! My commute is around 20 miles...I'd rarely use gas at all, but I guess 15 isn't too bad, and if I drive conservatively (which is probably not going to happen, haha) maybe it could achieve 20.

It would be awesome if the 2012 plug-in Prius could achieve 20 miles on pure battery-electric. Good work Toyota.
