  • and the aimbot is being used in the military???

  • Its the Centurion C, one man operated 50cal anti air (helicopters, jets/planes, bombs) gun

  • Made in russia

  • @lynerac The Russian one is faster and better. Plus they don't cost the billions Raytheon is getting out of these.

  • I meant like... Nevermind.

  • Use it to shoot fireworks, i'd pay to see that.

  • Essex rules

  • Its an aa weapon ;)

  • What's that white tubular part on top? Is that radar of some sort?

  • 37 people have been shot of this gun

  • The GAU8 is better

  • Dear Santa...

  • Comment removed

  • This is in battlefield 3

  • BATTLEFIELD 3!

  • Land based Raytheon CIWS shooting down mortars in testing. These were implemented in Iraq. Since some people don't realize what is shown being shot at and have commented planes and such. It was tested with mortars ranging from 60mm to 120mm.

  • The gun that looks up at you in your little ship and says: "Go fuck yourself."

  • They saved our asses in iraq several times it just sucks when they are right next to your chu. lol

  • japans first annual duck hunt was a resounding triumph

  • haha he's "making it rain"

  • I'll make sure not to make him mad by cutting him off in traffic

  • looks like a Dalek lol

  • would make for the best firework display ever

  • actually it is shooting mortors out of the sky. they had these in iraq after i got back.

  • Like in crysis online, those defenses.

  • That gun does seem to have some flaws as it does not appear to be able to home in on target very precisely. This is proven by the large angle of traverse upon firing. Also the target looks like a WWII airplane which is not a good standard for determining effectiveness of the weapon in a combat situation.

  • @camlpg looks like a missile to me.

  • @camlpg maybe this is just a prototype before they deployed the real one to make sure they get all the bugs. one the attributes of war is misinformation, you make the enemy think that you less capable then you really are. so that way when they come all cocky n shit, u can open up a can of whoop ass and put them into a state of shock and awe. and vice versa, depends on the situation

  • @free00to00ryhme Everything works perfectly in practise but reality can be a totally different situation.

Also, I think that the larger more powerful opponent has more to prove and show when a war is started. A large army takes time to get in order and then into battle position which is a very vulnerable moment and the large powerful army's greatest weakness.

  • Trick or Treat Bitches

  • hhhhmmm....does it have a cup holder?

  • Isn't the ratio of barrels to magazine a wonderful indicator of what a shitload of bullets come out of that bitch?

  • This thing farts hard man!!!

  • consitering how big that top thing is

it holds a lot of bullets...

    all buy 4!

  • Now for sale at toysRus for 1999,95

  • Mortar bullets fucking genius

  • I thought hes spraying mosquitos

  • This would be awesome for holloween just paint it orange.

    "Trick or Threat"

  • @jonathanhuntercrooks more like ''trick or get FUCKED'' ;D XD!!

  • I want one in my back yard to kill the birds that tresspass my property area .... and keep the neighbours and their dog OUT !

  • But will it blend, that is the question.

  • Also known as Counter Rocket, Artillery, and Mortar (C-RAM). That fucker is evil. The first day I ever saw this thing was in Iraq. I was walking near one, not realizing what the hell is was, and saw it spin around and fire off.

My ears spent the rest of the day telling me to go fuck myself.

  • @HotelKilo47 Cool so was it loud? >:)

  • @TheOwlDudes Yes. It also looks like a giant nuclear R2-D2 with a raging hard-on - and ejaculates, proportionately.

  • how chuck Noris kills flies in his house.

  • and why is it wearing a white hat? :P

oh its where it hold the bullets

  • they should have that homer simpson looking cannon installed on every block... thats real homeland security

  • SO ITS A ANTI AIR GUN?

  • @baitingmaster was a last defense weapon system for carriers. for use against long range missiles, cruise missiles, or aircraft that came close enough for this to shoot at. it's been replaced by a new missile system that does the same thing but with less expensive ordinance.

  • sounds like a chainsaw XD

  • holy...?

  • anti missile

  • wonder who is going to be the DJ??

  • this looks like the ones off BF2

  • dear santa

  • Sounds like me taking a poop.

  • Mass production is desperately needed

  • Finally, i came.

  • Duck hunt v2.0

  • Ratheyon Phalanx Weapon system originally for Ship-Board Anti-missle defense (CIWS) now mounted on mobile trucks by the Army and deployed in the middle east to shoot down inbound mortars. 3000 rounds per minute of tungsten rounds is a bad ass machine

  • shit nigga, this shit shoots bombs out of the sky motherfuckers!

  • hell to the fuck ya... They need to MASS PRODUCE THIS!

  • dear santa

  • Next 4th of July, these guys can come and put on the show!

  • 1 second of fire 1m$ of amo

  • @warfighter285

    True that.

  • its not a gun its a anti-aircraft-gun.

  • @MrJackejr

    "gun" Shut the fuck up.

  • @Dueforday eat my orange sperm!

  • @MrJackejr you should really have that checked out if it's orange man

  • @DaVeeKo Yea, the doctor said that i suffered from know to much.

  • a pistol drank powerthirst

  • sounds like a chainsaw

  • i go bird hunting with this

  • It's metal storm.

  • i think it's called "Master-Debater"

  • This is called the C-RAM (pronounced See Ram). It stands for Counter Rocket Artillery and Mortar. Its currently used by US forces overseas to protect bases against RPG's, Mortar attacks and Artillery.

  • @halapalooza2

funny, cause we still call em kiwis (spelled ciws) when i was in iraq in 09-10.

noe, from my military experience, i can verify, the army will slap 42 different acronyms on the same peice of hardware.

  • @CopperLeagueGaming Haha yeah very true. I did upgrades on the Sentinel Radars to allow them to link up with them in 09 in Korea and we called them CRAM or Centurions.

  • what is it though? it almost looks like a .50 cal mini gun automated. is it? for anti air craft is that reliable to have a machine shooting instead of a person?

  • @imachavel it's a Phalanx system that typically go on warships i.e. aircraft carriers and cruisers. It is a close-in weapon system for shooting missiles and things that get through the first line of defense. Consisting of a radar-guided 20mm Gatling gun mounted on a swiveling base

  • @Robearwgl

I think they are calling the land-based version "Centurion". But yeah, it's essentially the Phalanx on wheels.

  • best c*mshot ever ;)

  • That is the biggest bug spray i have ever seen.

  • It's a brilliant design, gotta love the fact that it can shoot down missiles without anyone controlling it, however my favorite, Although it isn't computer controlled, would have to be the GAU - 8 Avenger cannon. Sane rate of fire but instead of 20mm rounds the GAU shoots 30mm, they should turn that into a anti missile defense system :-) although it would be extremely impractical lol, tankbuster rounds on missiles, kinda extreme.

  • it almost as big as my penis

  • R2-D2 gone transformer

  • @TheVinzet R2-D2 gone terminator!

  • how many bullets does that gun shoot per second???!!!

  • @bobbycoyote up to 6000 rpm maybe more. it's probably classified.

  • it sounds like my weedwacker

  • Is that the phalanx gun?

  • chuck norrises alarm clock.

  • @KissakiSan They do not 'rain' back down. Each bullet is fused to self-destruct after a certain amount of time to prevent just that happening; and the naval version of this 'weapon' (it's really a defensive arm, because it's designed to shoot down mortars and missiles) ... well, for fuck's sake, it'll be in the middle of the goddamn ocean.

  • @SayokoHatsuya It's called a CIWS "Close in Weapon System". Used specifically when repel borders proves ineffective and as a last line of defense to aircraft and ordnance.

  • @SayokoHatsuya It's called a CIWS "Close in Weapon System". Used solely for when aircraft/ordnance cannot be engaged effectively and the target ship (Usually a high priority target, like a Carrier)

  • @SayokoHatsuya It's called a CIWS "Close in Weapon System". Used solely for when aircraft/ordnance cannot be engaged effectively and the target ship (Usually a high priority target, like a Carrier)

  • @eViLZuG85 ... I know. I am well aware. I hope you're just explaining it for someone else.

Wish more ships had Phalanx + RAM for multilayered "last line" of defense...

  • @LaRueDeeko Except they don't hit the ground and will never do so. Each bullet is fused to self-destruct.

  • aimbot!!! lol ftw

  • dude ftw put a vulcan minigun on it much smaller and faster :P

  • It's not really a gun though, it's more of a 'HHHNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGG fuck-you-up-atron.'

  • R2-D2 with a major hard on

  • fart gun

  • vaccum cleaner that didn't take his GAS-X

  • Holy shit! Someone dropped a quarter :0

  • imagine if hittler got hold of that

  • @TheJakeandadam1000 hittler had way worse stuff then that!! dont you know your history??

  • @patman0250 Germany didn't have a gun that fired 4500 rounds a minute, combined with dual radar setups that track the bullets going out, and targets coming in..

  • @dundonrl just look it up dude

  • It sounds like the tripods from War of the Worlds

  • R2-D2 got a little upgrade eh?

  • @Lucorn666 it's hitlers buzzsaw genius

  • Flying under the radar since 1994.................SCRATH THAT--2011

  • i hope there's an airsoft version

  • caliber?

  • Forget Hitlers chainsaw... With this fucker, you can cut an elephant in 2. No effort.

  • that gun is 20mm Phalanx CIWS and navy seals use it

  • @MrDisconnected77 ...Not just SEALs, the aircraft carriers use em' too

  • @MrDisconnected77 navy seals don't use this weapon. It's mounted on every surface combat ship, Which the SEALs don't operate, but they do hitch a ride to go kick ass.

  • Omg looks so much like the crysis turrets !

  • @BubuSnow93 you mean these turrets look like the crysis ones?

  • Can i borrow this..you see there is this Justin Bieber Concert and...........

  • i heard you hired body gaurdes thats a bitch niga move

  • these are the last line of defense for aircraft carriers such as the nimitz class

    1st. AWACS and interceptors

    2nd. Ship Radar and missiles

    3rd. bad ass miniguns

  • meeeep...... destruction at its finest

  • It's the Death FART ...LOL

  • We could kill flies with this.

  • 1 million per minute??

  • chuck norris farting has the same effect and sound =]

  • A Phalanx gun on a truck....so many rednecks just came.

  • Does this gun also field dress and butcher the deer?

  • 1:00 QUEEF!!!!

  • this planet is a sick puppy that needs a buryem enema. ......no georgia guidestones either,no tikum olam either.

  • sounds like its farting

  • That sound it made at 0:59 was the sound of pure fear >:)

  • I agree this is the cooler gun, but for rounds per minute... search 'metal storm'.

  • Dear Santa...

  • Is there a reason they gave it a turban?

  • @Automobilie It's the brain of the gun, tracking, firing rate, radar, the weapon itself is unmanned

  • @Automobilie Yes, the "turban" keeps moisture out, and hidden beneath it is a Self-contained search and track radar.

The guns proper name was Mk-15 Phanlanx, but is now called Block 1. Cost over $5.5 million back in the '80's. Was mainly used on Battleships for missile defense. The USS New Jersey (BB-62) had 4 of them at one time.

  • 26 people had there missles shot down by it

  • it costs $400,000 to fire this weapon... for twelve seconds!

  • @L0GAN811 Chuck Norris fires it for free

  • @L0GAN811

if it saves lives then it's worth it

  • now make a paintball one.

  • R2-D2 gone mad

  • @darklord2626 I got TIE Fighters on my tail!! Oh.. wait, no I don't.

  • no the German Dora gun is the biggest gun ever made

  • Its a Goalkeeper CIWS, made 2 shoot down missiles

  • I HEAR VUVUZELAS! I TOUGHT IT WAS OVER BACK IN 2010!

  • Looks like a tracer bullwhip !

  • its not loud :O

  • that is sick

  • if i told you kids once ive told you a thousand times.......

    STAY OF MY LAWN!!!!!!!

  • sounds like a chainsaw

  • @hockeyhenker ur ryt sound like chainsaw

  • Thats the same one thats in the A-10 "Warthog". Its the General Electric GAU-8/A Avenger 30mm cannon. The version pictured here is used to defend naval ships from incoming missiles and aircraft by using radar to direct the fire. 4200 rounds per minute or 70 rounds per second.

  • @TheAngryvikingman No, this is based on the M61 Vulcan, a 20mm design. There is a Dutch CIWS that uses the GAU-8, but the US Navy doesn't use it. What I want to know is what the targets where. It's pretty hard to tell from the footage, they look like standard target drones. It'd be a lot more impressive if it was shooting down AShMs.

  • is it strange that this gave me a boner

  • what is it called??????

  • @TheLazyPinecone The Phalanx

  • What caliber? Plasma..

  • run away taliban

  • what caliber?
