Yes, there are radicals in every group. But erasing religion is not in our free press, free speech, freedom of religion USA of America. Comunism tried to do that - did not work out. I agree that they all, not just the radicals, go too far - leave us all alone, if we want to go to church we will, but stop "pushing" your churchs on me, and I'll keep mine to myself also.
Our country and justice system was just taken over by one of those radical church movements for 8 years - what a mess!

i can't comment on something I haven't looked into. I do however think that if so many successful people follow it then maybe there are positives. For example I have heard scientology is great at reforming criminals, did they talk about that? NO. Christianity isn't much better, AN ARK of every kind of animal?!? Someone willing to kill their son for religion?!? Come on....but it does make a lot of people do a lot of nice things so it's mostly positive. I'll stay neutral.

Scientology is not a religion. Scientology is a business travestied of religion to avoid taxes and defend themselves against medical and professional associations. It is a bad business and will take ALL your money if you get into it. The reason some celebrities go into it, it is because celebrity is not synonym of knowledge or smartness. They are people like any one with the difference that some make a lot of money and can afford to lose it.
