Guild wars has the best pvp ever and the Guild vs Guild is amazing

and WoW pvp realy sucks

WOW arena is leeched from guildwars, and arena in GW is just the tip of the iceberg of GW pvp. Due to the strong buffs/enchantments in GW, players are forced to switch target often and coordinate more for a burst kill unlike WOW mindless training. However, i worry for melee professions like warrior since there is no dedicated healing class in GW2. Oh, and the gear in pvp is premade so bots are non-existance in GW.

you guys think pvp in wow or GW2 will be better? im seriously in love with the druid class in wow tho. moonkin and feral i love. altho i dont feel very balanced or a big enough threat sometimes. but moonkin has gotten alot better. idk tho i may love the class i play but whats the point if i get kinda bored of the bgs or tired of the ppl in the game ya knw? so im not sure. maybe i need something new and less time consuming where skill>gear ya know? cus i do track. i dont always have time to play

@FreewheelinLibertine Actually the main reason for the creation of Guild Wars 2 is because they had so many fresh new ideas for the cancelled game of "Guild Wars: Utopia" campaign that they thought many would be pissed off for changing the game from under our noses. So instead they decided to cancel Utopia and put all of their ideas into Gw2 instead of creating more stand-alone games.

Gw1 was all about balancement; so Gw2 was not made out of a failure of doing so in the first.

Pvp wise. how do u think Guild wars 2 will be compared to wow. really the only class i loved was druid for the most part. but i was kinda geting sick of pvp. like how unbalanced it was alot of the time. also the same old boring bgs they never changed or made better. also winterspring was terrible and laggy all day. I personally never liked pve cus it was too time consuming. i loved pvp cus its like shooters. u can log on, play for an hour or two an log off. and as long as u have skill ur gud

@gmgolden100 The PvP in this game so far, Will have one area called the Mists which will serve as a GIANT PvP BG, somewhat like an open PVP world. And No PVp is not like a shooter, but I do understand your refference.

@gmgolden100 If you ever played GW 1, there's no question pvp in this game will be far better than WoW's. WoW pvp doesn't hold a candle to GW 1. Players never complained about imbalances because your character is personalized to your play style and your BUILD.  It's all about BUILD in Guild Wars; not gear > > skill only. BUILD + traits + gear = awesome.

@Trixxie007 That is true and untrue at the same time. Yes GW1 PvP was better. Granted HA and GvG was. AB was complete garbage, JQ doesnt even count. RA was to test shit and TA is gone. As for people never complained about imbalances? You either turned a blind eye towards the imbalances the past few years or you never did any high end PvP. There has always been imbalances. a fine example is Gwen. The hero In. HA. Rupting. HB + Infuse. GW just fixes shit better than WoW. Interupts matter. /endrant

I'm so afraid that the PvP will be a let down, because the first 5 skills are set(meaning you can't change them unless you change weapon types) And the 6th skill is a healing skill, so that leaves room for 4 slots of customization.

I want more freedom like in Guild Wars 1

4 skills that you get to choose yourself is indepth? Also I've played the demo at gamescom and I have read all the Q&A's and none are clear about this fact. So I suggest you learn to stop being a fanboy and face the facts. Don't get me wrong, I love guild wars, and I'm sure PvE will be awesome, but the PvP will most definitely be horrible, unless they allow you to customize more skills, since the first 5 skills are preset and one slot is dedicated healing slot

@MrKempable Dude it more than 8 skills, if you are an elementalist you can change ur spell at will. Adapt to ur envirionment which means you can change to fire or ice at will depending on the situation. just like a warrior who can switch from 2 hand to 1 hand and shield. Pvp sucks? It gonna be more skill base instead of spamming the same button. lol do some research, i could rant much more but il leave it like that.

@joshshoot There is a lot unknow about minnions at this point because the ones in the video are far different that then ones they posted on thier website. So they could change as you get further into the game or depending on whether or not your in your "out of body experience."
