Not everyone is knowledgeable about the corruption in the government. I will admit I was a fool and believed what the government told me and never questioned. And I joined believing the government would never lie to me because that is just wrong. But in 2008 (unfortunately MONTHS after I signed up for 6 years) I learned of Dr. Paul. And I was awakened. He put me on the path to dig deeper and question more. And it has opened my eyes to many things in regards to humanity.

@slickbtk I understand subjectivity and personal bias within a conversation. I agree that intentions don't matter if the actions themselves are inherently wrong. I was simply trying to outline the complex relationship between American militants and the public's perception of their action; not in disagreement but simply to add to discussion. People should take responsibility for their own actions-- as most people believe; however something gets lost in translation when talking about the military.

Not everyone is knowledgeable about the corruption in the government. I will admit I was a fool and believed what the government told me and never questioned. And I joined believing the government would never lie to me because that is just wrong. But in 2008 (unfortunately MONTHS after I signed up for 6 years) I learned of Dr. Paul. And I was awakened. He put me on the path to dig deeper and question more. And it has opened my eyes to many things in regards to humanity.

I was simply trying to outline the complex relationship between American militants and the public's perception of their action; not in disagreement but simply to add to discussion. People should take responsibility for their own actions-- as most people believe; however something gets lost in translation when talking about the military.
