  • the merger of state and corperate power is fascism

  • "Simon Peter said to them, 'Make Mary leave us, for females don't deserve life.'

Jesus said, 'Look, I will guide her to make her male, so that she too may become a living spirit resembling you males. For every female who makes herself male will enter the kingdom of Heaven." -The "gospel" of Thomas, 114

See how supportive of women the gnostics were? All a woman has to do to achieve gnosis is move from being imperfect (a woman) to perfect (a man).

    /sarcasm

  • @NicholasMyra

My friend, you read but you don't see.

  • @NicholasMyra That's not what Yeshua was saying. The soul has no sex but people at that time seen men of more authority. When a Woman understands that her soul is of the same value as a mans, she will find gnosis.

In this way, she will become "Like a Man!" Gnostic women preached and had far more authority than a church that turned Mary Magnaline into a prostitute. How many female Popes have we had? Cardinals? Priests? Oh yea, a female can be a nun! Lutharens/others do better.

  • poor jueses is he could see all the wars waged in his name oh my !!oh my!!

  • i fell in love with the gnostic scriptures of thomas and mary, they are so beatiful and real, compared to the new tesament and evan in my opinion to the torah. I am native american and these scriptures are the only i'll accept as relevant teaching of the children of the creator, it's universal and eternal, cheers my gnostic brothers.!

  • He Knows Who Seeks.

  • Freemasons have gathered this knowledge for hundreds of years. Only people who can think for themselves will obtain this hidden knowledge.

  • So quick question what about Assyrians??? Where do Assyrians stand in your Christian beliefs...we were also divided by Rome...we Assyrians always believed that meditation is evil. Do you meditate??? I have asked this question and get no response when I say I am Assyrian...why is this. I admit that todays bible is different and I understand what Rome did but what about Assyrians Church of the East???

  • @ashthebartender1

Are there no Sufis in Syria???

  • Wow im so happy to know that im not alone! Thanks!

  • mmmm....I just don't understand why wasting time on talking about the Catholic Church instead of teaching and moving forward towards life and enlightment. St Anthomy of the Desert was a Christian Gnostic as well as St Francis of Assissi, not mentioning Fray Thomas Merton and Fray Thomas Keating

Gnosticism can be founf anywhere, in Vedanta, Sufism, etc

  • @cosmicRuna

I get your point, but history is history. Most of the general public has been brainwashed and lack the ability to delineate for themselves. The record needs to be restored. It is not about revenge or anger. It is simply an explaination as to how information is suppressed. This does anger the establishment, but it is the only way to get the truth out.

  • Great video! thanks.

  • Rome and the Pope forced Christianity on so many, and if you didnt convert because they said to, you were put to death. Just like they picked and chose which books to put in the NT. Jesus was a prophet and his divinity was CREATED.

Even so...his original mesage of enlightenment and growing spiritually should be accepted and believed by all.

  • Wow similar to past holocausts; a travesty.

  • I'm half way through this second part...... and I don't feel nearly alone as I did just a few minutes ago.... Bless you for sharing this video.... this message... a message that gets so awfully suppressed by the machine of what is called religion to all those who blindly see just one aspect of it..... thanks, and God bless

  • The gnostics have been proven time and time again to be much much older and not authentic with no proof or even anything that pointed to the true writers. Also most of the gnostics go against the majority of the bible and the new testament. So you would be looking at huge contradictions proving the bible not divine or from God..

  • You know what is really scary is this division is STILL Going on, today

  • What makes gnoticsism dualistic?

  • its not dualistic.

its actually about raiseing above dualism, Jesus mentions it alot, can only be done with knowledge, and understanding, yet people still fight over religons, not knowing anything about them.

  • A person committing mass-murder does so under the influence of the ego and being brain washed by other ego's. It has nothing to do with being a follower of Christ. You cannot follow Christ and be a mass-murderer.

  • @samplesking1 you must be talking about the murderous god of the bible

  • There's lots of evidence linking the Cathars to the Bogomils, and from them to the Manicheans and earlier Gnostics.

But the Knights Templar? What do you base your claim of their gnosticism on? What I've read mostly says they were accused of heresy for political reasons and not any actual heresy. They were rich and powerful and scared the Church and kings, so excuses were found to get rid of them. Their beliefs were pretty mainstream Catholic from what I've read.

  • My readings indicate that the Templers were inclined towards Arianism.

  • Murple. I am a Freemason (some say we came from the Templars). Actually, Pope JPthe 2nd in the late 90s openly apologised for the slaughter of the Templar Knights, and revealed that all the charges brought up against them were false. The Catholic church LIED to slaughter the men who threatened the lie they held so dear. Pope Leo the 10th was quoted as saying "This myth of Christ has served us well". The Paulian version of Christs life....the myth....the lie.

  • i thought the templars were orderd to be killed by the king of france when he was in too much dept to the templars

  • Thank you for that insight.

  • 08:20 simon de montford when ordering an invalid old woman to be carried in her bed 2 be burned and throw her and the bed upon the fire stated, it is better to kill 100 to make sure you get the one.

  • 05:00 its not ironic at all, the political power just took on xianity as its cover not that those xians became corrupt, absolute power etc.

  • I believe in Zeus. Through him I have learnt spiritual awakening and profound insights into the awakening of the spirit. Hail Zeus! Queen of the Moon!

  • There are no gnostic churches in my area. Is this meant to be kept to ones self, or are there indeed such things as a gnostic church.

  • as a Gnostic, I strive by the dead sea quote: "split a piece of wood and you will find ME, lift up a rock and I AM THERE." :meaning the fullness of God is everywhere and can be found wherever you look.. sadly there is not a centralized community of Gnostisim, so yur left to seek online and of course.. within yourself.. :)

  • "Finding God Everywhere" literally means that God is is within us, the kingdom of God is within each and everyone.

  • Why are these teachings a secret? Why would Jesus want to keep his purpose for coming to earth a secret (John 3 :16)? Why was his message for a select few and not everyone? If someone is not gnostic, would you condemn them? I'm not trying offend anyone-I'm just looking for answers.

  • You are not understanding because you are looking for absolute answers, like how these speakers explain Paul gave to the early church. But Jesus did not teach in absolutes. No enlightened masters do. As Jesus said, "When you know who you are, you will know who I am." Seek, and you will know the answers to what you ask without specific answers.

  • What if I don't find this knowledge? Will I be condemned?

  • No....but the knowledge is necessary

for your soul to 'arrive' where it meant to

go, in some life, you may find it! Maybe

    even this one. Good Luck!!!

The first 2 video's are interesting, BUT,

tells little. But then again, it is for YOU

to FIND, not for you to TOLD.

  • No, there is no condemnation from Gnostics, we are all at different stages in our spiritual journey, as a Gnostic, we would accept you at your stage what ever that may be. Some people never come to the beginning, but they will not be condemned for it.

  • Jesus is God incarnate in flesh in order to have a personal relationship with mankind. Simple. Romans 10:9

  • Anyone guestioning againt all that they have been taught to be concrete is the beginning, or the spark of your inner knowlede calling you to seek. God said that in the last days all His mysteries will be revealed. For them to be revealed they must at one time been concealed. The 'select few' are only those who chose to seek. We elect ourselves. Not everyone chooses to question what they are told. Gnosis is deeper knowledge found within.

  • As I understand it... it was the romans who needed a way to make the "unruly" inhabitants of europe "turn the other cheek"... The Romans understood that it would be much eASIER TO CONTROL Someone thru "the word of god"... The romans killed jesus blamed the jews...

  • gnostics don't condemn.. only seeking truth and enlightenment.. the problem with truth is it tends to be painful, beautiful, liberating thus making a person think and act for themselves in an intelligent manner..

  • Jesus teaching should not be intepret literally.instead,we should intepret it deeply since He already told us that He like to use figure words in His teaching.there must be a great meaning beyond His figure words....Understand with Wisdom,be Wise in Understanding

  • let me tell you something "awareness" is a so new-ager concept like seeing a crime and "knowing" what, when ,who ,etc but thats not Religion, the Religion is to be Saved from evil is about being repented for the crime and not commiting sin again ,cause you choose between Good and Evil, not knowledge for knowledge

  • 'Awareness' of knowledge within, thats all. It is a concept older than anyone could know. Religion is only man's interpritation of his knowledge that he imparts on others. Gnosis is knowledge from within imparted by God. Be Blessed.

  • It is a good point, though, and I'm sorry people gave it a thumbs down. You attain moksha when that is no longer your goal, when you're thinking of something more than self-improvement.

  • It makes sense that Rome would promote the version of Christ's teaching with strict moral law's and a tax to the church over the mystical version that consumes the individual towards a lifelong awareness of self and God. Governments tend to promote whats profitable.

  • well said!

  • One might wish to look at current world events as Counter Reformation and Inquisition...if one wished to place supposedly dispirate events in proper context.

  • "Jesuses teachings were considered heretical" that is so outrageous. Control control control.....that idea really has no limit.

  • It's about time for the humanity to learn about Gnosis and who are the Gnostics, because till now we all Christians knew that Gnostics are "heretics". Now we know the truth and what happened through history. In the name of Christianity so many people were persecuted and slaughtered.

  • maroian: In the name of Christianity so many people were persecuted and slaughtered. "

That`s why christianity can`t be the truth, nor any other religion for that matter

  • No Philos...the noun placed on something does not change the character of a thing...nor do men taking invalid action based on greed and power soil the valid. Christianity embraces but an aspect of the whole, however the Catholic Executive and Orders wish ALL suppressed. In suppression of awareness lies control.

  • Science has given rise to things like nuclear bombs and weapons that kill people, and many have died because of this. By your reasoning, does that mean science can't be true?

  • science, art, religion, society....it is all about how men use it.

  • To me, one can be discussing and theorizing as much as one likes or wants to, but until one tries and experiences and feels, it will always be an intellectual belief - whatever it may be.

Gnosis is different. What one gains is one's own truth and knowledge through one's own experience. That means it's down to the person, and not a belief system. Sounds much more difficult as you have to be active not passive. Wishing all of you well though. And Happy New year.

  • I agree!!! As Jesus said to Nicodemus,"...we speak of the things we see... we speak of the things we hear...". But the problem really is being limited to the ASTRAL REGION. There are regions upon regions beyond the ASTRAL.

  • Best just follow the direction Of Jesus and come to God as a child, because I really won't ever know anything until I love and know myself, like I did before they messed up my head.

  • Humanity beats itself up, kicks itself around always seeking something it already has, yet never recognizes it. So here I sit alienated, ostracized, a broken branch from the truth, from what I think I know but never really see. Tearing myself apart, limb from limb spiritually and physically, to many questions and no answers. The product of some greed and power hungry culture leaders and their ideology of their own stupidity, propogated on the rest of the human race. Sins of the fathers!

  • If Enoch is referenced in Genesis and Jude NT and the translations of Enoch refer to some rogue angels who came to earth and mated with humans and created offspring and or influenced the awareness or knowledge of man. Then who are Angels in the book of Genesis who came down and later say now they are like us?

  • ChupacabraYetiElmo,

Angels who mixed with flesh and became flesh, fallen angels, like Samael Aun Weor was, in the Apocryphon of John it's said they number 365, then it's up to each one to rise again I suppose.

  • If the altar of a God is on this mountain and it was decimated perhaps by nuclear and or biological weapons and became desolate of life wouldn't this be more of a sign of abomination of desolation then some idol statue on an altar made by man?

  • What is the abomination of desolation(Daniel, Rev)? I have read many studies refering to a building or church and yet the only real temple of the OT condoned by the God of the same book was built by Solomon and destroyed by the same God? Desolation is a word used many times in the christian bible. Along with holy mountian(mount Carmel? Elija)

  • If all of prophecy is written then why include a book of Jonah and why would Jesus say the only sign would be the sign of Jonah? If Daniel is prophetic of end times and the vision of the statue is clay feet mixed with iron why do religious leaders claim this is a reference to a new roman empire that is not strong when other books of the bible reference God as being the potter who molds the clay? Wouldn't this be more of the seventh seal and as yet to be determined and not written?

  • If the book of revelations(John) is gnostic then what is the apocrypha of John? What makes this text not of John and bogus according to the church? Why do people think they can define the seventh seal? Why do people think that the God would contain itself in a book? If everything is written in a book then all of us have no free will and are already programmed to be as. If Saul(OT) had a spirit put on him by heaven then how could he be blamed for his actions?

  • I thought the Knights Templar were put to death because of their money changing racket?

  • The truth is yet to be found. The truth lies before Jesus not after. Most of us allready now what happened during and after Jesus.

The people of this planet have always searched for knowledge. I don't think we will ever find the truth of our beginning and to be honest it doesn't matter.

Find the love in yourself and beam that out to others. Dance around a fire naked and get into the God spirit inside of you.

Don't complicate or waste a lot of time on any of this its simple stuff.

  • There is nothing better than seein a beautiful woman speaking the truth.

  • I agree with the middle part of your sentence

  • by the way, light at the below stated frequencies resonate and manifest to the eyes as ROY G BIV! YHSWH and Miriam also can be used to symolized the process of Light traveling into the prism and becoming the 7 rays of 'glory'. And Sol, Om, and On are three archetypal names for the Sun and are used together to create another archetype for the fully born again christian, just like Hermes/Thoth, the 'thrice greatest'. Born again in mind body and soul. One=male/man & female/holy spirit=heirosgamos

  • The 7 Seals of Solomon are the 7 chakras and are symbolized by many societies by lotus flowers with a number of petals symbolizing the frequency of the chakra. They are 1)base-4, 2)2nd-6, 3)3rd-10, 4)heart-12, 5)throat-16, 6)pineal-96, 7)crown-1,000. When the first six are in balance (adding to 144) they act on the 7th (multiply). This by sum total is 144,000. Light's claimed frequency is 144,000 minutes of arc per second. Climb the 33 spine/degrees of the vertabrae and become a light builder!

  • ah yes, it's about time somebody made a video documentary like this that sums up the path to inner light in a good, brief, and to the point format. Yes, the Christos is in us all and the sacred name of YHWH are the four elements manifesting to different degrees in the body. The 5th element is the spirit of counsciousness that is also amongst all of Creation in the Prima Materia. This is symbolized by the hebrew letter Shin making YHWH into YHSWH or YESHUAH. The cabalistic method to christhood!

  • 1 watch?v=7gpjJUbPfzY

    2 watch?v=DMxKffswZ1Q

    3 watch?v=_1UEXBXNyyQ

  • These are great videos. It's beyond ridiculous that it took 2000+ years for the real history to be known to the majority of the world's population, most of whom, don't even care.

  • Very informative. Great to learn some gnostic history.

  • Real good - Inspiring and liberating

  • Its is sad taht it has taken so long for the truth to reemerge. Thankyou for bringing this to us.

  • Wonderful video. I'm going to watch the 3th part next.

  • You can't keep a good thing down, well done i am looking forward to more of this.

  • hmmm...I would have loved to read those lost teachings of Jesus as well. thankfully some have been recovered, but who knows how much more we may be missing. thanks for the second part!

  • Thanks for this great information. It's so sad that we have lost so much valuable teaching and that religion today is so corrupted. It's wonderful that Gnosticism has surfaced in the world again.

  • Wow great info very interesting

  • Too bad alot of Jesus' teaching was left out of the Bible..else the world would be different.

  • if GOD wanted us too have morein the bible he would have given it too us, he said if all was wrighten the books could not hold them all. his words was too great

  • I also wonder what those lost teachings of Jesus says! How much more guidance we could have!

  • What a great documentary. Thanks for the information.

  • Just wanted to add what a sad history it has been.

  • Just wanted to say thank you for such an informative and well done doco on gnostic christianity. It sheds light on our spiritual history as a humanity, that was almost lost... until now.

  • Imagine if we would have the teachings of Jesus that were lost! I wonder what was there...I can't believe they are lost forever.

I'm glad to see this type of information out, well presented and clear.

  • @patiatkin i dont think they will be lost , the vatican has a huge secret library with 50 miles of books . they could also be books in etheopia it was a very traditional christian place . the arc of the covanent is supposed to be there .

  • @patiatkin A copy of Jesus' teachings are held in the ether - the Akashic Records. Access it through meditation.

  • @patiatkin They are not lost forever, you can actually go to google and type in Gnostic Texts, and you will find the link.

  • @patiatkin It is not lost in the collective unconsciousness it will be recovered. Jung spoke of such things archetypes.

  • There is a very interesting book about the gnostics written by Tobias Churton called " The gnostics".

Regarding the violent persecutions of the cathars Churton quotes a conversation between a commander of the crusade and a father of the church . `the commander asked the priest how they should recognize the cathars among the other civilians and the priest simply answers "kill them all, god will know which ones are his own"

  • Hi Semelofatsa, yes, i have read that book too, it is very informative and some passages are really shocking. I've heard that there was also a documentary made by Channel 4 in England that was based on this book, which talked about these things as well as about the real message from Jesus and Gnostic gospels, but for some reason it has been stopped from public broadcasting.

  • I was told that it was stopped by the church.

Sadly, even today the church is trying to suppress this information.

Does anyone know whether this documentary is available anywhere?

  • Really interesting, The point that intrigued me the most was that journey into finding and seeking deeper and more mysterious things in life. And something so high and divine is a lot closer. Very nice, thanks for sharing this.

  • I only watched this because the narrator is cute.

  • It was interesting to see this, I never knew the Cathars were considered gnostic. Thanks for providing these enlightening videos

  • Great second video, looking forward to the third instalment.

  • Thanks for the second installment of these illuminating documentaries.

  • so...in a way Gnosticism is not a religion or a sect if you want?

because i think that the knights templar as well as the cathars where sects.

can somebody help me on that?

  • Hi semelofatsa,

Yeah, I don't think it is a religion or a sect. In my understanding, it is the practical knowledge we can use to improve our lives, and it can arrive in many different forms. So, it can appear in different sects, religions, movements, etc., but it's not something that is "owned" by them, that is exclusive by them, but is something universal.

I hope this helps you understand this more.

  • This is a fantastic series of videos, very well made, and very inspiring. I'm looking forward to seeing part 3. It's heartening that the truth can now reach the light of day and be accessible to anyone wishing to explore it.

  • thanks guys for all these vids.

    :D

  • What I really like about this video is the point that "Gnosis" belongs to everyone - not just one religion (so many groups that searched ended being eradicated but thanks to them we got some historical events). And it shows Jesus in a much different view than what is normally seen today. What a breath of fresh air!

  • I really like too how it was said that whoever searches for gnosis is able to find it, so it could never really die out!

  • Hi bobv1m

Yes, the history humans can seem to be a bit bleak, but to me, Gnosis is really a message of hope, it tells us that we can stop acting like humans has acted, and act with the same strength and love that Jesus did.

  • Another great video. But, kind of a discouraging commentary on human beings and politics and religion and power.

  • Nothing much has changed has it, good to get a breath of fresh air with verifiable information,Thank you.

  • Great video! Very informative. I am looking forward to part 3!

  • Great to see the second part upp so soon

  • It's amazing what took place 2000 years ago. What is now commonly accepted as Christian Truth was decided by a little council and voted upon!!!

WHAT A STEAL!! I am so glad that these videos are coming to life. Thank you!

  • Really well done, I'm amazed at how professional this looks. Reminds me of the BBC documentary The Lost Gospels. After all the persecution I commend you lot on having the courage to voice your own opinions. Very refreshing. I remember someone saying something like 'It's not that what they believed was wrong, but that they believed at all and how atheists also have their 'religion'. A very interesting way of looking at things. Looking forward to part III.

  • Very informative video, thanks.

  • It's interesting to see how the real Gnostics have persisted with their practice and spiritual quest throughout history dispite persecution from all sides!

I hope I and everyone else who sees this and attempts to take up the teachings can find a way to battle against this both within and outside of ourselves, so that we too can endure and reach true spirituality in our own lives.

  • I am enjying watching these very intersting and thought provoking videos on a topic that not many wish to deal with, in my opinion. It is great to have a way of finding out the truth of what has happened in the past and why we have what we have today. Thanks

  • These 2 videos are very informative and well documented, and I've really enjoyed them. Coming from a Catholic background it's very sad to see the harm that humanity have done to each other through political and religious domination. It's time for those searching for the truth to be able to freely receive the teachings from our forefathers.

  • I also come from a catholic background and it's very clear that Jesus's real messages to the world has been suppressed. At least I live in a free country and I'm able to make my own decisions without fear of torture and death.

Great video! Loved it and Thank you.

  • It's hard to imagine that in the past we could easily have been burnt at the stake just for making our own decisions about what we wanted to do with our life. And just because it upsets other people because they feel like they're losing control!

  • well said maisypd and i hope that you find true peace and happiness which comes from the only religion 'Love'.

  • This comment really stood out for me:

"It's ironic that the church itself originally was heavily persecuted by the roman empire, and then eventually once the church gets enough power, it then becomes the persecutor."

  • Amazing how these teachings are still available when you consider all of the efforts that people went to to suppress them.

  • RedBoof, I agree it is amazing. I can only imagine the beauty that these people could have produced in the world if they hadn't been so aggressively destroyed.

  • These are wonderful videos providing a great intro to gnosticism.

  • Yeah, it really feels like a miracle!

Maybe this is the hope for humanity...I hope so!!

  • Wow...I was really shocked to hear about the efforts to suppress this. All from people who called themselves "religious..."

  • I know, it's brilliant how well this video shows the hidden side of mankind's search for the truth. I'm anticipating the rest of it even more.

  • Yes, it is a miracle, isn't it? I also watched a National Geographic documentary on a discovery of Gospel of Judas, which showed a lot about how hard it was to bring this kind of document into a public view. People basically let this old coptic text with the words of Jesus on it sit in completely unsuitable conditions until it almost moldered. The truth certainly emerges very slowly.

  • I saw that too. I'm glad there are people out there who have persisted with trying to spread the word!

  • For too long religious texts and studies have been obscure and contradictory to me, finally I can put the puzzle together with this comprehensive video; this is bigger than the Da Vinci code, and definitely real, thank you for putting the light to these dark times for the Gnostics, giving justice to them, at last!

  • The obscure Gnostic texts have always been interesting to me. It is almost a miracle that they were even re-discovered at all with all that the early official church did to suppress the Gnostics.
