Vandy may be a contender. I agree with that and I hope they do well to make the SEC get a bit more credit. But no offense, Ogilvy is overrated. When we played you all at home this past year, the refs were HORRIBLE. That may be understandable as every ref hated Gillispie. But refs love Cal and I don't think we haft to worry about playing two teams every game. I do wish Vandy the best. But I don't Kentucky losing this year. Especially if Wall is wearing for the BIG BLUE.

And my Uncle is on the board of athletics committee at UK, he gave me and my dad the calipari deal almost a week ahead of time and we talked to him today or monday i mean and he told us our focus is to be directed towards Bledsoe... and also that Bledsoe has confirmed that the two schools left are UK and Memphis. Kentucky is to try hard and make sure to get him and keep pursuit of Wall and see how the deal will play out.
and yeah what Wall did might not have been THAT bad but the fact is that he did it... you cant make stupid decisions like that, it says a lot about character and discipline, especially when someone like that has the future ahead of him like he has. why do ANYTHING to jeopardize that?. With the whole "breaking an entering" incident and the media that brought it out UK will look out for its INTEGRITY of the University. Don't know how Paz will work out, and I like Nolan a lot, but there is no way he'll get another college job as long as he lives. He broke the rules and sued the school that fired him. i don't really know which one i want (wall/bledsoe) yes wall is faster/quicker, and a better dribbler. but you don't ever see him taking that many shots outside of 4-5 feet. So my confidence in his ability to shoot is a little shaky. Not with Bledsoe, this kid can shoot. im not saying i wouldn't take wall first. (b/c he fits well with dribble/drive off.) but i wouldn't mind a pg that can shoot as well. They both pass the ball well. either way i think UK will land one of them. I hope it works out

Scotty and I went to highschool together and talk regularly. He's going to make you and the entire Kentucky fanbase really.. really.. really sick. He's a future NBA all-star. He got away from Bruce Pearl long enough this summer to actually grow as a player. Just watch.
As for the Louisville bash.. our success far exceeds that of UK's in this decade. Eliminate the Pitino era from the UK legacy and you've nothing but a bunch of 40 year passed chips. I'll take our typicality over yours.

But even if we do get him UK it dont mean we are gonna raise another banner, could it happen? yes- likelihood probably not. Coack Cal still needs time. Thanks Addict. It's hard not to root for Calipari. It was devastating when Calipari left us but we had 9 great years with him and he does what he says. I can do nothing but hope the same happens for Kentucky. While we'll miss him here, you have to admit he's a more natural fit in Kentucky!!!

I didnt say when he was going to decide. And my Uncle is on the board of athletics committee at UK, he gave me and my dad the calipari deal almost a week ahead of time and we talked to him today or monday i mean and he told us our focus is to be directed towards Bledsoe... and also that Bledsoe has confirmed that the two schools left are UK and Memphis. Kentucky is to try hard and make sure to get him and keep pursuit of Wall and see how the deal will play out.

and yeah what Wall did might not have been THAT bad but the fact is that he did it... you cant make stupid decisions like that, it says a lot about character and discipline, especially when someone like that has the future ahead of him like he has. why do ANYTHING to jeopardize that?. With the whole "breaking an entering" incident and the media that brought it out UK will look out for its INTEGRITY of the University. They dont want to be associated with some dumb phenom that already thinks the rules dont apply to him. Kentucky will get Bledsoe and that will be that. Plus, I honestly like this kid a lil better, he is not a one and done and you can really build a team around him. He a Natural PG.

Don't know how Paz will work out, and I like Nolan a lot, but there is no way he'll get another college job as long as he lives. He broke the rules and sued the school that fired him. Not saying it is wrong, but colleges don't hire coaches who sued their last employer. As for Bledsoe... if UK signs John Jimmy Wall then Bledsoe won't go there. Doesn't mean he'll go to Memphis either though. Bledsoe looks good, but Wall is a phenom. Get Wall and be happy.

i don't really know which one i want (wall/bledsoe) yes wall is faster/quicker, and a better dribbler. but you don't ever see him taking that many shots outside of 4-5 feet. So my confidence in his ability to shoot is a little shaky. Not with Bledsoe, this kid can shoot. im not saying i wouldn't take wall first. (b/c he fits well with dribble/drive off.) but i wouldn't mind a pg that can shoot as well. They both pass the ball well. either way i think UK will land one of them. I hope it works out

I am a UK fan and personally think that the fans that want Billy Clyde gone after this year are idiots. It is apparent something is wrong with the team, but the players want to play for him and he has some ballers coming in already. This kid would be smart to come to Kentucky. But I don't think that a reasonable fan of either team would say it would be a bad decision one way or another. Both schools are elite in the basketball world. I just hope he chooses the creme de la creme.

He's most definfitely Duke bound everybody. With Elliot Williams replacing Gerald Hendrson when he goes to the league, that makes Nolan Smith the back up two guard to John Scheyer. Eric Bledsoe is a true PG and duke hasn't had that since Sean Dockery. Bledsoe whould play right away due to the fact alone. Not to mention that he would actually be playing for a winning team.

Why did Nolan Smith take his starting position in his senior season? He has no athleticism, no scoring or passing ability and he's a walking turnover. Opposing teams cheer when he comes into the game.

i dont love paulus i never said he was good. i just said that he started which he did. and dockery isnt a true point guard anyway. hes a combo just like smith, williams, and scheyer. there last true pg was daniel ewing.

Okay... Now you've just proven my point.... Chris Duhon's last year was in '04. You said that Daniel Ewing was a true point guard. DANIEL EWING WASN'T THE POINT GUARD! SEAN DOCKERY WAS!!! HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF A THREE GUARD LINE-UP???? You probably haven't.... Mr. Now-it-all huh? Daniel Ewing was an off guard man. He didn't play the PG... He never has.
