yea i know what ya mean bout going faster...we have ALOT of problems with wild hogs tearing up ground and making it almost immposible to travel at decent speeds. This particular field hadnt been farmed in years therefore it was jaw jarring at 3mph, in our upland its lots smoother therefore we can travel in c1 or b3. Thans for the comment, where do yall farm?
@brian93ist yeah we cut with 2 JD 6230P's and and bale with a 4055 and a 7210. Wouldnt buy anything but green, and dont think yanmar makes anything big enough for us. We do all our farming with 4440's and a 4650.
@brian93ist Our 4055 has around 11k hours on it with only a transmission overhaul and ac work, and a 5020 is too old and big for what we do. I think we will be trading the 4055 in on a 7330 premium this summer, gotta stay up with the times..
@brian93ist Both of our 4440's are the newest "big" axle rearend and both are quad ranges, one is a '82 and the other is a '81. Our 4055 and 4650 have powershifts
Those PKs were the best offsets ever built.
