Fuckin love this song... This was a decent album... I dont care what people say... He was progressing forward while everyone wanted him to stay the same... If your a true fan then you progressed forward with him and enjoyed this album and 6-9.

@scrymusic Agreed. I mean, people were already pissy after he left Misfits, and then Samhain, and formed Danzig, stepping away from just punk and incorporating metal into it. The punk purists didn't like that either.
Anyway, if people are still pissing and moaning about this album, nearly 15 years after its release, then that's pretty pathetic on their part.

@Billinois78 BlackAcidDevil was Danzigs best Album. The reason why it was so heavily criticized was because there wasn't any Blues in it. Apparently this made him lose Popularity with BB King Fans that were hoping Danzig Five would be nothing but Elvis and Roy Orbison covers. People who bash BlackAcidDevil need to stop listening to Danzig. Go listen to Kid Rock or ICP if you want every Album to sound the same you fucking pussies!

@DanielDamascusKimery Yeah. You know, I don't think there has ever been a band/musician who has not, at times, 'disappointed' some people with some change. It will happen. If it doesn't happen, then they're not an artist, but a 'product'. If people buy a product, then they are to expect something in particular every time they buy it. That's not how any artform is supposed to be.

@scrymusic Agreed. Real Danzig Fans like 5-9 better than 1-4. Danzig gets better with every Album. Industrial Music kicks the shit out of the Blues.
