@darthbandon1 it can only go 12 miles on electric so WTF is the point of charging your car every 20 miles or so! Toyota needs to increase that 12 to 50 and then we are getting somewhere!

how is this suppose to save energy when we use more electricity to charge the battery? also see that car rear end from the heavy weight of the battery...

so, people who put an additional batteries for their Priuses end up getting more MPG, so that means, if the original battery on your Prius starts getting old, your MPG will go down... don't get me wrong, I love the Prius 2010, not sure if we are as consumers awake enough for this selling strategy!
