I think Jim is miles ahead of everyone else when it comes to songwriting/lyrics, but in terms of who gives a more powerful performance overall, I think Morrison and Plant are about even (eg. 'Crossroads - Live' vs. 'Since I've Been Loving You').

Alright man, I see what angle you are coming from, I get it now. Yeah you are right, Plant and Tyler Definetly have a much large vocal range than Morrison, Plant is definetely in the top three singers of all time, Zeppelin is probably one of the greatest bands of all times. Yeah I do like Morrison more than Plant, now though, Jim had a more deeper, baritone throaty voice than Plant, I'd probably actually have to say they are even in terms of overall singing.
