can you guys please make a review on the time machine, i've got it and my friend wants it but he's not sure if he wants it or not. please make review, if you can, big thanks.
The board at 2:44 i found one with the same design and color a few nights ago on the sidewalk like at 2am walking home from a party. It needs new bearings but otherwise it's a great board, idk who would just leave it on the sidewalk.
@live4downhill thanks very much. will i still be able to slide really well if i have the evo because i know i will be able to do hill blmbing but im not sure about sliding.
@tofoskater take the original out, they suck. as for the landyachtz, i would personally go with the switchblade, better graphic, and drop mounted so its more stable, although the switch probaby wouldnt be much different
im looking at getting a longboard but i weigh like 245 and i need one to support my weight. was wondering if the bamboo pinner would be a good one ? thanks
Hi all, please check out Longboarding Brisbane. We are a new channel and are very grateful for some views. Please help us out, thanks :) youtube.com/user/BrisbaneLongboard
I'm 18, 5'06. 148lb-ish and i been riding for a month with a borrowed sec 9. its one of those really long cruising type boards. i want to get more into some good speed, some hill bombing and obviously i want to learn how to slide. basically im looking for a good first board thatll last me some time until i get my begginer stuff down. any recommendations?
Hey guyss, I have just released a trailer for a new series called "Afternoon Seshions". Coming up will be episodes of downhill skateboarding, freeride and plenty of epic things included with longboarding! can everyone please suscribe to me that would be a massive help to get my videos viral, thanks heaps ! Skate or die.
@TheEpicFlameNinja he may have different trucks to u he has grizzlies 852s if u have the same trucks then yea u should try tightening them a little im not sure if it will help coz i havent ridden the board with tighter trucks but it cant hurt... unless u stack it
Hey guys, I'm loving my new board - The Switch- Me and my mate are wanting to bomb some hills but the trucks seem to be loose. I don't know if I should tighten them or not because I read somewhere you get wobbles if they are to tight, but when I get to fast my switch gets the wobbles and I don't want to go any higher on the hill. Help?
i do alot of free style but lots of sliding as well n down hill i have the spud and loaded fatt tail wat board do u recommend oh n the spud n wolf shark r the best boards i have ever road
im thinking about getting some seismic trucks for my earthwing supermodel and i like to carve im an ameteur at best and im about 160 pounds wat seismics (or other) trucks shoud i get?
@snappingturtle199 Oranatangs stimilus 86a wheels are incredibly hard wheels . if you want to slide those are the best but do not carve with them they "can" slide out on you . if you want "safer" wheels try stimulus 80a-83a
@sethman1996 nah man, got stms 83a, they will break in at the day, and those will slide out in every turn, what are the best landy hawgs for freeriding/downhill?
@snappingturtle199 i wouldn't say any zombie hawgs can do both freeride and downhill successfully. zombie hawgs are pretty much purely freeride wheels. wheels like monster hawgs are great for dh, and can freeride with slight success if broken in properly.
Any plank of wood with four wheels is a skateboard. Saying skateboard doesn't mean a thirty two inch deck with double kicks and tiny 99a wheels. When you say street deck, that's what that means.
I have a Q. I live in Europe, in a little country called Latvia, and we don't have any Landyachtz stores here. I can't ship it from US (i tried)Are there any alternatives of buying landyachtz boards online in Europe. And will they deliver them to Latvia
what board would you suggest for a guy whose 5'3" 110lbs and wants to do tricks on the board but also cruise around...and doesnt want a very large board...
dam man friend told me bout landyachtz and im keen on one so badly hahah..
stupid question, but how much are they? and how much like just the deck possibly, im not the richest, im only 16 haha
also for that question ^ i have a sector nine longboard atm, i havnt learnt to slide yet i dont even have sliding wheels, iv just been carving and riding round town, but im keen on sliding, what would u recomend? iv been reg skateboarding for a few years, so i know what im doing, but what do u recoment?
@ToTaLdEcKs that board is the Landyachtz Drop Speed. It's a combination downhill free-ride board that features drop through truck mounting, some nice concave and beautiful symmetrical wheel cut outs. Feel free to check it out on our website.
please write me back on this i want to know where you guys get your racing lethers ive been longboarding 7 years and want to compete i love you guys so where do you get them
@damond0mastin thanks for the question. NJK is company that producers leathers that are specifically designed for downhill longboarding, but motorcycle leathers can work as well. Check them out through Google for more information.
I need a board that's is good for sliding and downhill with mabye a little freeriding on the side. So far i've chosen the"switch", the "drop speed", and the "Nine Two Five". Out of these boards I was wondering which one would probably be the best for me?
Im pretty big 6'0 190 and am really interested in getting into longboarding I am new to longboarding but not to other board sports and will probably pick it up relatively quickly. I mostly just want to get around town without having to drive but plan on carving and freeriding. What kind of board do you recommend. I like The Switch but do you think it would be too much for my skill level?
@metallica606, thanks for the question. The switch is a great board for all skill levels, it's dropped riding platform makes it more stable and the foot pockets at either end of the riding platform allow you to lock your feet in giving tremendous control. It's a free-riding dream and it carves beautifully as well. For your size, weight and level of experience it would actually be my number one recommendation.
@metallica606 as landyachts said the switch is a good board but i own a rayne nemesis which is the kinda the same but has a few tweaks that i presonaly think makes the board better
got the evo monster pack but the only thing i dont like is how ling it takes 2 ship, i ordered it a week ago and still got another week till it gets here
@drownigpoolfan1997 it's the Landyachtz Drop Wedge. It's a great board for downhill and freeride and would be an awesome choice for someone your size. It's not available on our website any more as it's being re-designed, but we still have a few left in the 2nds shop.
@garrettissilly I was going to get different wheels, they are just the wheels I got with the board. The problem is that my board is fairly close to the ground, but I think I have risers so that's ok. What duro eould you recommend? Would 83a be any good? I was thinking of getting abec's
@garrettissilly or actually, the white zombies do look quite good, my normal hawks arent any good. Are zombies good for speed and stability as well as free ride? Also they won't be to small for my board will they because my board is really close to the ground
I ride the switch with risers and white 80a zombies and I enjoy the zombies. they are predictable and if you dont want to accidentally slide. You can control yourself however if that becomes the case its very easy to not slide and bail. I would defiantly prefer abecs however, because when zombies cone you and you cant switch them around due to the off-centered barring setup.
is the battle axe good for hills? not like mountains, but if i wanna go down some decent hills, and still ride my board to school to save some gas, would that be a good choice?
@idrum4jesus767 how big are these hills would be my main question. The battle axe is made of bamboo so you have to remember it will get more vibrations at speed than some stiffer boards. I mean, if you are planning on going 30 or 40 km/hr, you should be okay but depending on your skill level, this speed or anything faster might prove challenging. Remember to progress slowly, tighten your trucks and always wear a helmet.
@666bonscott thanks for the question. We produce a variety of boards made for all types of riding. Our drop decks excell at going down hills, but we also offer a variety of non-dropped boards that can be used to skate vert, transitions, park or anything else your heart desires. Check out our website or our youtube channel for more info.
Hey landyachtz : what board is better for carving in your oppinion, the spud or the switch And what trucks/ wheels would you recomend for a downhill/sliding board?
@WIIarethebrotherhood thanks for the question. Which board would be better for carving, really depends on your size and your stance. The foot platform of the Switch is 26" whereas the Spud is 22" so the spud would ideal for quick carves but might be a bit too short for a taller rider.
As for truck/wheel combinations for downhill and sliding, I would recommend Bear 852s for everything, they're great. For wheels, I would recommend 80a zombies for sliding and 78a mini-monsters for downhill.
@landyachtzlongboards well im 5'7 and im not sure what board I could break into a nice slide with, im Pretty sure im going to go with the switch but im still not sure, also my friend has 80a orangatangs and they seem much too soft for a decent slide or is the durometer diffrent depending on what company makes them?
@drewrg that sounds like a great choice for a beginner cruiser carver. If you want something with a little more flex and pop, we also offer some bamboo boards that may suit what you're looking to do as well. You should check out the board information videos on our youtube channel.
@random0is0necessary our U.K. distributor site is being built as we speak actually. In the meantime you can contact richard@jandrsports.co.uk as he is our U.K. contact. Hope this helps.
@WIIarethebrotherhood if you want to get a custom deck graphic on a new board you are ordering, it can be done you should call in and place your order and specify what you are looking for.
Fall/winter is the best time to do this as well because we are least busy. 778.785.6855.
can you guys please make a review on the time machine, i've got it and my friend wants it but he's not sure if he wants it or not. please make review, if you can, big thanks.

hey please some one reply what board is that at 2:43 and would it be good for me im 5'6 and way 110
drownigpoolfan1997 1 year ago
@drownigpoolfan1997 it's the Landyachtz Drop Wedge. It's a great board for downhill and freeride and would be an awesome choice for someone your size. It's not available on our website any more as it's being re-designed, but we still have a few left in the 2nds shop.

I have a DH race with 78a 85mm hawgs. Is it possible to slide with these wheels with ease?
EpIcGaMePlAyZz 1 year ago
@EpIcGaMePlAyZz
I dont mean to be buzzkill McKillinton, but your gonna need smaller or harder wheel
I really like the white zombie hawgs
garrettissilly 1 year ago
@garrettissilly I was going to get different wheels, they are just the wheels I got with the board. The problem is that my board is fairly close to the ground, but I think I have risers so that's ok. What duro eould you recommend? Would 83a be any good? I was thinking of getting abec's
EpIcGaMePlAyZz 1 year ago
@garrettissilly or actually, the white zombies do look quite good, my normal hawks arent any good. Are zombies good for speed and stability as well as free ride? Also they won't be to small for my board will they because my board is really close to the ground
EpIcGaMePlAyZz 1 year ago
@EpIcGaMePlAyZz
I ride the switch with risers and white 80a zombies and I enjoy the zombies. they are predictable and if you dont want to accidentally slide. You can control yourself however if that becomes the case its very easy to not slide and bail. I would defiantly prefer abecs however, because when zombies cone you and you cant switch them around due to the off-centered barring setup.

is the battle axe good for hills? not like mountains, but if i wanna go down some decent hills, and still ride my board to school to save some gas, would that be a good choice?
idrum4jesus767 1 year ago
@idrum4jesus767 how big are these hills would be my main question. The battle axe is made of bamboo so you have to remember it will get more vibrations at speed than some stiffer boards. I mean, if you are planning on going 30 or 40 km/hr, you should be okay but depending on your skill level, this speed or anything faster might prove challenging. Remember to progress slowly, tighten your trucks and always wear a helmet.

are these boards good for just riding on flat ground
666bonscott 1 year ago
@666bonscott thanks for the question. We produce a variety of boards made for all types of riding. Our drop decks excell at going down hills, but we also offer a variety of non-dropped boards that can be used to skate vert, transitions, park or anything else your heart desires. Check out our website or our youtube channel for more info.

Hey landyachtz : what board is better for carving in your oppinion, the spud or the switch And what trucks/ wheels would you recomend for a downhill/sliding board?
WIIarethebrotherhood 1 year ago

I was looking to get fiberglass Wedge flex for my first longboard and I was looking to ride it for just cruising and curving. Is it a good choice?
drewrg 1 year ago
@drewrg that sounds like a great choice for a beginner cruiser carver. If you want something with a little more flex and pop, we also offer some bamboo boards that may suit what you're looking to do as well. You should check out the board information videos on our youtube channel.
