  • A dad that listens to Zolof... Massive respect! I just wish I could play as good as you. Keep up the good work!

    Thanks!

  • I can't really get the left hand... My brain just can't control it... I have to be looking at my left hand to play it... Any advice or ways I can practice

The left hand *is* a little tricky ... I've been playing for years, and it took me several weeks to learn it ... maybe even longer. So my only advice is to play it very slowly and evenly, and pick up speed only when it becomes comfortable. And if it takes a month or more, just have patience ... even it seems like your brain isn't getting it, after a while the muscles in your hand WILL get used to it, and it WILL become natural!

  • Yay!!!!! It so simple, I'm just starting and it's easy, can't wait to show my friends... And my Sis will be so jealous because she LOVES!!! This song and she wanted to play it on guitar so bad!!! Haha I win!!! Jackie ( my sis)

And y'all should go to warped Tour 2011 please!!!!!!!!!! Think about it ( if y'all do go) make sure to bring Anthony Green!!!

If you upload your performance to YouTube, let me know!

  • yay!!! the tutorial!!! i'm excited I can play it myself now:)))

Oh, and I think you should try to make an arrangement of "As You Sleep" by Something Corporate, because it is such a lovely song!

Thank you for the wonderful tutorial!

  • > yay!!! the tutorial!!! i'm excited I can play it myself now:)))

Good to hear - and if you post a video of yourself playing this arrangement, please let me know!

    > Oh, and I think you should try to make an arrangement of "As You Sleep" by Something Corporate

My "videos To Do" list is a little long at the moment (mostly with my other 3 channels), but I'll check it out!

    > Thank you for the wonderful tutorial!

    Your appreciation is appreciated!

  • Thanks, that was a great tutorial! I love this song and your cover is lovely, thank you for sharing! (:

  • > thank you for sharing! (:

    Glad you liked it missy!

  • you should do a tutorial of 'you're not alone'

    please? ):

  • > you should do a tutorial of 'you're not alone'

I was able to come up with a piano arrangement for "Plays Pretty for Baby" that I think works well ... but I'm not sure I can do the same for "You're Not Alone." But if I do (and then do a tutorial on it), I'll let you know!

  • haha that would be really cool :D

nobody on youtube has made a tutorial of it or done it slow enough with a good angle to see what they're doing :/

  • awesome! Thanks dude

  • Is that a Yamaha P-150?

If so, did you tweak the sound at all?

It sounds slightly different than mine.

    But you're arrangement is beautiful.

    Zolof is my favorite band.

  • > Is that a Yamaha P-150? If so, did you tweak the sound at all?

Yes, it's a P-150. I haven't tweaked it at all ... but it is old (10 years or so)--maybe its sound has "aged."

    > But your arrangement is beautiful.

    Thank you!

  • I got mine at a pawn shop and about broke my back trying to move it around

  • > alright thanks your an asshole

I'm not sure why you're upset, as all I did was answer your question. But when you asked "type out the chords," were you asking "what notes make up these chords?"

    If so:

Ab major = Ab, C, Eb

Eb major = Eb, G, Bb,

Bb minor = Bb, Db, F

Db major = Db, F, Ab

  • thanks:)

  • can you just type out the chords

  • > can you just type out the chords

The chords are Ab, Eb, Bb minor, and Db.

Same four chords throughout the whole song: the intro, the verse, the chorus, and the ending.

  • THANKS!!!!!!!

  • > THANKS!!!!!!!

You're welcome - and let me know if any sections are too unclear to follow.
