bon scott was a ham, a great singer, but also everything almosy was tongue and cheek humor. Watch some of his on stage movements and gestures. that is what I mean by "ham", mugging for the camera. things like that, he took himself serously and not... i read the book.

@lanceporter I was refering to smoking weed. I've met Phil Rudd and been to his house on several occasions. Due to my respect for his personal privacy, I do not feel I am at liberty to say anything further on this "drug issue" when it concerns him personally. He is an excellent drummer and have heard him play at his house. I do not claim to be an expert on the personal lives of AC/DC members but I have met Phil on numerous occasions and drive past his house every week.

in 1978, I worked as a waiter at a hotel restaurant next to the civic arena in my town, and Angus and Mal and their wives?/girlfriends? came in late after the show. They were the most polite and quiet people in the whole place. They sipped Kahlua and cream and coffee and had strawberry shortcake. Kinda blew my image of the wild rockers I perceived them to be LOL, but they were truly a class act. Really nice guys those two.

The civic arena was just across the courtyard from the hotel, and it used to crack me up when some of the big name band members would each get their own individual limos to drive them 100 yards to the venue, instead of riding together. I got to meet or see lots of famous entertainers there.
