@skarlatospanagiotis ehhh i'm not sure it's actually stacatto. when it's performed by a cello there is no plucking involved so it would be legato, no?
I play the clarinet... madly... i think... but I really wish I could play this! I try to practice it every day! You have literally been my inspiration! Bravo, Mr. Monkey!
truly amazing i am also a clarinet player but not nearly as good as you.Where can i find the sheet music for this song i been heaving trouble finding it.
Bach's Cello Suite No. 1 is one of my favourite classical pieces ever. It sounds amazing on the cello, but I play the clarinet, and it sounds different and yet equally magical. Someday I hope to be as good as you are :)
@rockdiva1100 Interpretation. The sheet music for clarinet has breath marks at these places so he improving. Also I tried to play this piece and when you play that quick you really do need to pause because the split second pause is not enough to get enough air. :P
check out this guys other videos. honestly he has not got the reputation he deserves. i mean some of his videos are the best i have heard, but only have 600 views. post him all over your facebooks/twitter/myspace. he is the next bach.
This is ok, but It would become much better if you used circular breathing! It´s not very difficult technic to learn. Everyone can learn Circular breahing!
You're making a decent sound on it, but the whole idea of these preludes was that they were very free runs around on instruments in the way that pre-baroque musicians played prior to commencing dance pieces to warm up and check tuning. Bearing this in mind, I'd give a little more thought to where you stretch, pull, push and breathe to really highlight the harmony and give shape to the phrases. Lovely sound across the registers though!
