hey nice vid dude i love to salmon fish i never can catch a salmon lol i like to fly fish any good tips on what kind of flies to use for trout and salmon?
An excellent video presentation! A lot of great information packed into a well crafted documentary. I also liked the combination of learning from the biologists and the kids involvement in the experience.
Thank you. The fish anatomy would have been a good addition.
FYI... most of the eggs collected through this program are sent to the hatchery. Don Miller mentioned that, but I should have highlighted this in the video. Only a small portion is released into the wild on this special day.
The rainbow trout most really appreciate Salmon Sunday, too!
Nice job Joe. Good shots of the biologists working with the kids. Glad to see you 'labled' the events! I missed this on the first view and was going to suggest it. I will suggest that you include on such pieces a 'graphic' of basic fish anatomy;close-up shots of eggs and milt would have been good. I assume the 'egg release' area was 'trout free' !! Otherwise it would been a good 'feed station' for sure! Underwater shots of the 'release' would have been good; showing eggs 'nestling' in.
i went to that i made almost 1000 babies! lol
