Does anyone one know of any good basses i could use in reason? im having trouble with my bass lines and im lookin for a similar sound as this bass line sounds dope! but the only thing i would know about makin the drums have more swing is editing it manually wit the pencil it does take more time and its more tedious but if you get it right it will make a huge difference.....good remake!

Yea I have trouble with some of the bass on reason. If you sample shit then try to filter out the samples bass line using the M Class Equalizer. You may have to mess with it for a bit but its dope.

its simple to get the drums like that bro i use an mpd 24 with reason u can do it like that or if ya dont have enything like that u just do what u sed take of snap to grid and just slide that shit over simple

Use a midi keyboard or a trigger finger drum pad (if you want mpc feel). Anything one can do with an mpc, you can do with your PC. Reason, Recycle and Soundforge are all what I use.

great job.... and for the drums... use triplets... first lay your base kicks... then fill in the premo style double kick by opening a new lane and setting the triplet 16t or 32t depending on how tight you need it..... oh and of course use regroove on both when your done to make them even tighter.. (MPC swing )...peace

Or you can get an MPD32, or MPK49 and use the swing function on there to get the type of swing Primo uses.

On reason i don't know it but on FL it's very simple to get what you want. You'll just have to slide the swing fader to the midle (on the top/right of the step sequencer). Keep it up.
