I have to admit, it looks like a diy haircut not sure what you do for a living but I bet your not a barber. how much time did it take, you could get a barber to cut it , look alot better and spend time doing something. I bet you don't cut it everytime. By the way, I am a pro and your cut looks like crap.

@morlynhen111399 I can't imagine any barber being supportive of people cutting their own hair so I'll take your "your cut looks like crap" comment with a grain of salt. FYI, it takes me about 30-40 mins (less than the trip to a stylist) and I've never paid for another cut since. As far as what I do for a living, I'm a stand in for film actors. You may have heard of some of them, but who they are have no bearing on who's opinion of my cut carries more weight, yours or the people I work with.

WHY WASTE ALL YOUR TIME DOING THAT?...you look good but surely its easier and less stressful to get a babrber to do it..you could actually be a male model if you got a decent haircut...in life never take shortcuts my friend.

@underdogphoto you are lucky as you have great hair...a great hairline will forgive many a haircut..genetics pal..have you ever tried a razor comb? i think you would get great results with one of these too...they are very easy to use

@mrhairsaviour I haven't tried a razor comb, but I have been using my electric trimmer the last dozen times or so to save time, not because I get a better cut than the sizzors. I'll have to look into the razor comb, thanks for the advice.

I've been cutting my own hair for a long time.

But it does take practice and it may be a good idea to have a few hats -- and maybe some clippers -- in case things go badly wrong. ;)

For the back, it helps to get a shaving mirror and prop it up on something behind you.

Absolutely. I save $250 a year. On 10 years, that's $2500! I think that with the great depression coming soon, it's everyone's responsibility to find ways of doing things themselves. A good example is to learn how to fix your car.
