I love this version, especially the scales variations you throw in. You mentioned below that you're improving around spanish and Arabic scales. I'm guessing the Spanish scale is C Phrygian (transposed up a half tone from B), which Arabic scales are you using?

Yes, transposed from B to C.

The scale which I call Spanish, C D Eb F G Ab Bb C (the melody here is based on that) is called Natural Minor or Aeolian. The Phrygian scale would have Db instead of D. However the two scales are connected.

There's no much of Arabic scales here really, except pieces of them based on a semitone followed by a "jump" of a 3rd or similar.

I can suggest to have a teacher for the first years, then (unless you don't want to pursue a career in classical) if you wish you can become audo-didact, you can learn by listening cds and watching videos. At least so did I. Overall, though the commitment you can put, always try to do what you feel and like and have fun.

E' assurdo, è il formato usato da YT per memorizzare i video, eppure quando lui comprime dal mio MP4 al suo fa un disastro sull'audio.

I was pretty sure you would have liked it, Milita, because I know that it's a popular piece in Spain, both in the original and various free versions.

Music helps me too to exit from loliness. It's a sad piece, but really I have much fun playing it: the theme is simple, I know it since when I ws child, and I love to improvise on the Spanish scale, and on some Arabic scales which I learned recently!
