@fermixx nice mix! been thinking about getting the nocturn for a while now. how does the crossfader work? i understand that you cant scratch with it when its MIDI, but is the reaction time quick?

@noinuthreesix it is if your computer is somewhat capable and you use good sound drivers (asio4all for example).

The crossfader of the nocturn is actually the best built part of the unit, but its not loose at all. I like it because its a bit resistive and precise, but for scratching i guess it's not loose enogh.

holy shit man thats some of the best minimal ive heard ever. This could be on beatport top 100 easy. How did you get so many quality sounds?! How many of those sounds are built from scratch vs. taken from a sample pack or other songs etc?

ese loop es el de HUMO. Me equivoque con el orden de la tracklist, in my head viene antes de buffer expander.

Lo que suena a los 13 es buffer expander + loop de humo y despues va entrando un loop de bajo mio + kick y drums tb mios.

Es cierto!!!! pero has escuchado que parecidas son? Incluso me atrevería a decir que, o usaron el mismo VST o alguno tomó ese sonido del otro.

Hay un ruido que es exactamente igual (el del principio de synaptic). Despues el tema ya delira para otro lado.

Me gusta mas el de swat squad, pero creo que el de pascal feos es anterior, asi que es probable que swat squad robara el sample del tema original (o que haya usado el mismo sample pack)

How do you have your nocturn setup with ableton? Are you using any automap?

you gotta use automap for every thing you may want to do. otherwise the nocturn is just a piece of junk. even if automap is not "intelligently" learning parameters, you'll still use it to have different pages with different (standard) midi messages to flip throught.

kinda tedious to map but then it's almost the same
