Really drives home the point of keeping all things in perspective. A very to-the-bone reality rub in this one....beautifully done. Thank you. This is going into my bookmarks.
This video is perfect in its simplicity, specific, and exact implication of its intent and purpose; "LIFE AND THE WAY YOU LIVE IT - IS YOUR CHOICE" It's really that simple!
This character counts program is all a bunch of smooth worded propaganda- take it from me, my school has it. They just try to make your bad school sparkle with words and music...
I hate to be the one to rain on your parade, but I HATE this movie because it doesn't make any freaking sense. Basically, we are all born to die. So F it all? Sorry but things do matter and feelings too. And if you don't think so, then sell all your stuff and see if it hurts. Or go around hurting others and see if it matter. Yeah, these things are frivilous but without them we wouldn't have this thing called life. And that is why I don't like this video.
It doesn't mean to ditch everything now. It means to not take everything so seriously. It means every now and then, give something. Take advantage of the times you have to "do good", if you have to choose between watching tv or going to play with your brothers and sisters or sons and daughters, go play with them. It's supposed to encourage you to want to do something with your life and not just make something of your life.
All of this is so true. If we as a nation could just learn to love one another and realize that just a kind word said to someone that looks sad or a smile as we pass a stranger on the street something so simple could mean so much and if everybody joined in and passed along a smile or a helping hand there might never be sorrow or sadness only ever lasting peace.
I don't know when you found the time to write, Michael. You've always been the most committed and BUSY man I know. Between family, JI & CC, and the radio, I don't know how you did it, but it's a very beautiful and touching poem. Especially at this season of my life. Michele (Your former Assistant)
People get too caught up in themselves instead of caught up in the real life they have and are existing in each lucky day they are still alive on this earth. Most waste their lives with nonsense and frivolity...missing the opportunity they have to live a life..often realising too late..how they damaged themselves with habits..with time-wasting...with egocentric sensibilities...a shame, but this video can be an eye opener for them, if they watch and internalize this it's wisdom.
This is a great and much-needed reminder that what matters most in life is so far from so much of where we spend our time, what we dream about, and what we aspire to.
This is so beautiful and so true. Thank you Mr. Josephson. I have shared this with everyone in my circle of friends who I feel have made that choice to live alife of Character especially Janet Siller who is retireing from her position of Exective Director of Sutter/Yuba Friday Night Live she has made such a difference in the live of so many youth in or community. Shre this with everyone you know!
