Hello I watched your recipe first time today and I am giong to make it for our Diwali which at the end of oct. Have you got any recipes using figs and mixed nuts?
@FitnessTrance Seriously? What needs to be healthier? It's almost entirely fruit and nuts. There's no butter, no oil, no egg yolks, no refined sugar or flour--just 2 tablespoons of honey as sweetener. If you think that's too unhealthy, you should just eat a celery stick for dessert.
salamo alaikom alia i made these the other day and they were delicious but my husband suffers from a stomache problem and coconut upsets hits stomache so instead of rolling them in coconut at the end i rolled mine in the powdered almonds and they were sooo good my husband took some to work with him and when he got back later that night he said my boss says can you right down the recipe so that his wife can make them at home lol so they were that good lol
wouhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! you are very good, greetings from Naples where you can find babbà sfogliatelle pastiera..........kissssssss che goduria i tuoi dolci!!!!

This is a good idea to put it on steam cuz , I usually buy it in a package mashed already and then cook it w/ 2 eggs and add the almonds roasted , and rice crispies cereal... and then roll it and /roll again in coconut love ur idea thanks for sharing
do u know where i can find that orange blossom water cuz me nd my wife looked for it in walmart nd foodlion nd other big store we couldnt find ,i will apreciate your help thanks
i remember when i was in Saudi Arabia, my dad use to bring these date balls every night from work and me and my brothers use to fight over these delicious things......when i was watching this video, i was thinking about how crazy i was about them.....i love your videos alia......thanks for reminding me the good times...:)
How funny, I just made a recipe very similar to this last night! I thought I was inventing it. I made it raw tho; I instead of steaming the dates I just soaked them in water for a little while, and I didn't toast the almonds. I didn't use honey or orange blossom water, I'm sure those ingredients give it a really beautiful flavor!
you can make orange blossom water with orange blossom tea- you can find this in any grocery store, if not in you local grocer, any asian market will have this.
MASHALLAH u r very expert chef, I'll try ur recipe b/c its looking wise very yummi, delightful, awesome
