@BoeckmannLudwig OK thanks, Im going to play mine I have coming through my JBL PBX612M and

through mixer Mackie then I can adjust EQ etc on each channel. Should work fine.

I run all my guitars through my mixer and PA. I also use a Bost GT-10 and also a Amplitube StompIO

system with a RC-50 looper. All works great running through the Mixer PA system. Clean and can be

powerful if I want it to be :)

The Mono sounds good too and thats the way I will play it is I want to add some effects.

I really enjoy everything you do but some stand out as you know.The fellow that said Merle played 3 finger style needs to know that merle only used two fingers,( there may have been exceptions) but I saw him and he only used two,even on "blue smoke")Chet is still my Favorite,and of course,Martin.I sometimes sit in "my room" and listen to you,Martin all evening.You are awesome !

Many thanks to you. I did not know that Chet Atkins made an instructional DVD before he died. I have seen some of his books on Amazon.com, but not his DVD. That is worth looking into. Are all Gretsch guitars made overseas these days? I try to buy USA made goods whenever possible. I had a beautiful Martin HD28, but I had to sell it to pay bills. I think every musician has a similar swan song story to tell. Enjoy your music. Chet would be proud.

You are doing a fine job of playing just like Chet Atkins. Where did you learn his technique? I see that you are also playing a burnt orange Gretsch guitar? Is that the Country Gentlemen version and what year is it? They made an anniversary special in 2007 that was not in my budget.
