  • @007ovensmasher When you download something to your computer, you are receiving something that someone else has already made, rather than creating something new. This will be the same for direct brain downloads. Such technology would accelerate research, rather than removing its necessity, as simply downloading information cannot expand human technologies; humans that understand and use those downloads do the wheel did not invent the car, humans did!

  • How will Cybernetics become advanced enough to develop technologies such as "brain downloads" without people who have studied and researched to develop them? There will always be a need for people to push the boundaries of technology

  • Sounds like he's on something. This is just bound to end in disaster and he's going to be blamed for it.

  • was he built by cyberdine systems?

  • Slippery, Slippery, Slippery, Slippery, Slope!!

  • We all ready stepped on the slope with the invention of the computer. A slippery slope isn't dangerous if we learn how to ride it

  • He was my lecturer last term, he told us that! He's a really great guy, very good lecturer too.

  • Lucky!! I'm only 15 but I would love to be in his class. Cybernetics is truly interesting.

  • Keep studying maths and learn to program in C and C++, then you will have a great chance of doing Cybernetics at The University of Reading. When you do, make sure you come and find me!

  • Thanks!
