I'm getting lost in the very beginning after I finish up the first mission in X3. I have no idea on where to go next. Isn't there a button or something? Please help :(
how do u get m7 class. it says u can get from official site by downloading from x3 site but then when u do and install the game ius same and nothings happened

rofl... how could a massive singleplaergame pawn a mmo? The onlything that is boring in eve is missionrunning, but Combat PvP and Market PvP, BECAUSE you need B R A I N for that ;)

mmo games do have their downsides, this game is great for people who don't want to deal with assholes constantly killing you and such. and if you think about it the only mmo feature X3 is missing is other people... not always a bad thing
i was playing all X2 and X3 and i am playing EvE online, and i played Freelancer and other sci-fi games.
X3 is one of the best of them, but in my opinion it is always more fun to play with others. I miss that i X... if there would be a co-op mode for LAN, it would be reeeeeaaaaaaaaaly great. Even if there are griefers constantly killing you: You can learn from that and beat them ;)

i don't know where you live, but i buy Game Time Codes from the usa, thats much ceaper than buying them in my own country^^
and if you are good enough in the game to earn much ingame money, you can buy game time codes for ingame money, with support by the devs, so you can be sure that the code that you buy for your ISK is not used or invalid
hmm, didn't know you could pay with ingame money, thats kind of a cool feature. i live in canada and it is real cheap to pay for codes, but to have to pay at all is shitty. oh well, im gonna stop complaining, it seems like mmo's are the future of games anyway, not like i can fight it. cheers
EVE online is a great game ruined by poor customer support and other players. They will ruin your experience if you have nothing short of godly ego. X3, though not multiplayer (I only wish it was so I could play with friends) has everything you'll ever want if you like a godly space simulation (not combat simulation) without 14 year old Kevin kicking you ass because he felt like it. Therefor lack of realism.
EvE online is a game for the elitist type people. And they can continue to be the way they act because they will never grow. A game will come out and bash that boring ass shit game into the stone age.

EVE Online is an MMO that is a beautiful game and concept, but it is totally let down by crapy development and customer support. Even after 3 years on the market, and it is always suffering from SQL DB problems that causes server reboots and crashes.
X3 is a single player game, but it is the type of sci-fi game that EVE strives to be. Even as a single player game, it FEELS like an MMO. It is that amazing.
so watching the brilliance that is Mishra's .7 trailer made me realize this video lacks any sort of credits, so, while slightly belated, this film is by me Syklon, and the music is from X3 (although i have never actually heard it ingame)
When i first started playing X3 i turned the music off because it usually distracts me, but one day i switched it back on to see if i was missing anything ... its been on full blast since. Adds an amazing level of atmosphere to the game as you swerve in and around space stations, i love it :)

I dont think the sound is in X3 at 00:48 you can clearly hear the sound of dolphins. I rather think it's recorded from a dolphinshw or something.
