  • Still all CURVES! That's why it's so pretty..

    From every angle and perspective..

The 312P Coupes got fatter for the bigger tires... don't look so nice dead on

The rear of the 512S is a kludge.. 512M fixed THAT.

But the dread wedge was coming with the 312PB...

ALL cars became rolling door stops..

    "What does it spoil??

    "The Looks!!"

    A SCG cartoon, c.1965..

  • Sounds like a rotory when he is stationary

  • Personally I think this is the most beautiful Ferrari there is-something about the shape of it that I really love, and the sound isnt half bad either. Have to settle for owning one on Gran Turismo 5 I suppose lol

  • This is probably just a re-make with a V8 engine, genuine 330 P 3/4 has a V12 engine

  • @omfgwtfbbq90 say what? did you count the tubes on the headers and notice the intake manifold?

  • @webbieinmammoth yeah, and have you?

  • @omfgwtfbbq90 The is a V12 you moron. Count the fucking spark plugs. If you knew anything at all the sound alone would tell you it's a V12. Stop pretending you know what you are talking about.

BTW Replicas are not allowed at FCA Concours events. Get out from behind your video games and come out into the real world you might learn something.

  • @lindo745 roflmao you mad bro?

  • @omfgwtfbbq90 No I just have no tolerance for people that make shit up as they go along. They're just pretending to be smart but all they do is spew out stupid shit....like you thinking this is a V8 replica.

I give you a little slack because you a child and have no real world experience yet. Get out and do some stuff in teh real world instead of gaming.

  • @lindo745 man you sound man bro why you so mad though?

  • @omfgwtfbbq90 Siiiigh.....Sadly you will never understand. Hope you have fun living in your head ;^P

  • @lindo745 but I live in my house?????????

  • How come thats the only 330 p4 ive ever seen without a racing number or any other logos?

  • FIA Regs required the spare tire and FIA suitcase wells in the rear on either side.

Those were dropped for Sports 25 cars as in 512S and 917....

Group 6 Prototype regs eliminated even more nonsense, witness the 312PB's..

Chappers really hated some of the silly regs..

    The ACO had their own whacky readings and Le Mans only B.S. to contend with;

  • I see that it has a license plate....is it street legal?

  • that gave me a boner.

  • what kind of starter is that?

  • @dieselducy - As far as I know, that car has a built in starter. Sal the mechanic was just in the back to adjust the throttle, while Jim turned on the ignition and hit the start button up front.

  • @512BBi It is a built in starter, under the rules it went in it had to be able to start under it's own power. Also notice the spare tyre. Another requirement of the rules at the time.

  • First thing I see @ 0:05 - 250 Testa Rossa!

  • DAYUUMMM. thats a sexy car.

  • i have seen both in person- the ford is great, it is the results of millions of hours of labor- and piles of money. it is a brilliant car! highly developed and cutting edge tech (at the time)- it is probably faster, definitely more reliable, and may be worth more.

the p3 has four more cylinders and looks like a bent over supermodel covered in rosso corso latex.

  • what a sexy car. there will never be another to rival it.

    the ultimate sportsccar.

  • @brandonesterer :/ there r heaps like the GT40 is just as beautifully and the ferrari GTO

  • Glickenhaus deserves a FERRARI medal of some kind....from all of us.

  • When I saw Bandini and his #846 win Daytona, 1967, it was an open Spyder.

Yes I know the history.... and the arguments.

I'm just glad it was conserved.

  • Rubbish, this car was a Bruce Lee ballerina ,when it came to handling ,you talk shite young man,it was in the twistys where this car was at it's best, though 199mph recorded top speed at Hunindiers is not to b sniffed at..

  • Raw power. Nothing else. That, kids, is how you make a race car. :D

  • @gp75motorsports yet a 130 horse power lotus will go circles around this car on nurberg ring

Lightweightness vs Power. You should know that Just by increasing the power wont help you go thru the corners. lightweight does that mutch better. but when you put these two things together

you get Zonda. and thats there is all i wanna say about race cars

  • @epicwarding

This car weighs <800 kg, it's about 75 kg heavier than the series 1 Elise, but it produces more than 3 times the power. Yet you reckon that because of the Elise's massive weight advantage of 75 kg it will run circles around a purpose built race car, on a fast track like the Nürburgring?

    Vänlig hälsning från Sverige.

  • @epicwarding You idiot. Are you serious about what you wrote? read camakam's comment.

  • @epicwarding

Then explain to me how the Nissan GT-R manages 7:26 on the 'Ring, dumbass.

  • @epicwarding I don't believe a Lotus would "run circles around this car", although they are amazing for the power they do make. This 330 P isn't even *that* powerful, but it IS a race car. I'd choose a Lotus over one, but I wouldn't expect to beat it on the Nurburgring. I also doubt a street-legal Lotus could run flat-out for 24 hours either, which is this car's "raison d'etre". Plus, IIRC, a 1972 Lotus Special makes 0-60 in like 7 seconds, and maxes out at 120mph. This is a 1967 car, 200+ mph.

  • @gp75motorsports not really acceleration & cornering make a race car.

  • @gp75motorsports Don't be an idiot. You can't even make a DRAG RACER with "Raw Power nothing else"...otherwise they'd just take one of their $40,000 nitro-engines and plop it into a stock Mustang, instead of spending another $100,000 on a tube frame and $100K on aerodynamics and traction and spoilers, etc. For a RACE car, raw power is a plus, not the most important thing. Traction, handling, aerodynamics, balance, suspension, weight reduction...THOSE are important, and the most expensive bits.

  • @justforever96 I know, I was kidding. Jesus, I've won two go-karting championships and numerous other races in two other kinds of race cars, so I know as good as if not better than you what goes into making a good race car.

  • One of the guys on left almost had a heart attack when it started up

  • @bubbathesecound LOL, I think you're right! Sure looks like it startled him, anyway! You know, I used to have a car similar to this. Well, my car also needed a broomstick to hold the hood up, anyway! =) One thing I don't get...what's with the spare tire? Was that an old Le Mans requirement, or something? Somehow I can't see the driver getting out a jack and changing a flat on the side of the Le Mans track...

  • @justforever96 and what if it was the front tire? no spare

  • @suggett48116 Huh? I don't follow you...I can't picture a driver changing ANY tire, front or rear, on the side of the track at Le Mans. I don't know how they do go about it in real life, but it seems that either he'd have to drive to the pits on a flat tire (they swap rims when they change the tires any way), or someone would come to him and change it for him, in which case they'd bring the tire with them. Why carry that extra weight around the track for 24 hours without being required to?

  • @justforever96 i was replying to the comment below you sorry

  • Brilliant! Thanks for throwing this up on the 'tube!

  • Awsome. Nice to see videos like this.
