Tone was a little off, and he's singing at half volume instead of BELTING it out. - Some of the pitch was a little sketchy. - But what a song to attempt vocally!!. - Sorry for being so critical, but this is my favourite song in the world and after 9 years i can sing it as it is heard on the album. - It is my NEMESIS!!!!

they sold out their first album. i can only find the original worn out at my local record store (cd warehouse) i don't want to get cause I am still looking for the reissued 2 cd set. hope they re-release it with the next winter's bane album with tim on it next year

I am so sad I wasn't able to buy Heart Of A Killer than amazon had 7 years ago. It had a bonus cd with demos and live tracks. I didn't have any money and it sold out latter.

This is the best incarnation I've heard of Winters Bane, as the vocal spot is a toughy to fill. Especially this song.

I would only ask, and this is only a construct of criticism, that the singer-who is already very good-try adding a little bit more bite to the verses. His falsetto is awesome, though.

Wow! The new lead singer has no problem hitting the high notes. Tough song to do live. Lou St. Paul is amazing on guitar. Their new cd "Redivivus" rocks, by the way. can't wait for "Heart of a Killer 2"
